DigiTechGuitar Volume Pedal, Black (DOD-MiniVOL-U)

Not bad, but needs a treble bleed circuit, and it would be nice if it had a minimum volume knob.
The unit itself is built like a tank, if not used as a pedal it could easily be used as a bludgeoning weapon. The action is smooth and holds the position nicely. The taper is alright, better than some I've used but not as good as others. The thing that really gets me is how the treble just dies when the pedal is at anywhere other than full volume. This isn't a dealbreaker as I'm handy with a soldering iron, and I'm getting some metal-film caps tomorrow, but for a kid who is just starting out with guitar, they won't know what to do. I would love it if it had a minimum-volume knob, as for what I am using it for is a way to lower the gain on my amp, to get two channels out of each channel on my amp. I put some velcro under the treadle, put velcro on the bottle cap and used that bottle cap to limit the travel of the treadle.Overall, a good pedal, but I wish the engineers at DOD just put on a minimum-volume knob and a simple capacitor/cap and resistor treble bleed circuit.

Sad to say it's rubbish
I had high expectations for this since I have the equivalent DOD expression pedal, which is fantastic. This, alas, not so much. There was a marked increase in 60 cycle hum when it was in the chain, which I don't even know how it managed that since it's not a boost circuit. And while it looks like it should be bulletproof (the exp sure is) the foot treadle was wobbly right out of the box, and I have an ironclad rule of assuming that if a construction detail you can notice right away is that blatantly shoddy, you can count on sloppiness in the hidden details as well. I absolutely get why anyone would be looking at this, but for real, if you want a good volume rocker with a very small footprint, just spend the extra $30 on the Dunlop Mini Volume, it's absolutely worth it.

Broke In Less Than A Month Of Light Use
Worked like a charm until it didn't. Less than a month of light use, seriously, maybe 5 times total and it's getting all jammed up. I opened it up to find the plastic sawtooth rod that turns the potentiometer is starting to get stripped and come loose.Returning this POS asap. This isn't an isolated problem. Look around online at reviews on sweetwater/musicans friend/guitar center, serious qc problem.

Volume goes up, volume goes down, and not huge.
I wanted a smaller volume pedal that wouldn't break either physically, or metaphorically break my bank account. This one is perfect. Similar sweep to my old full-size dunlop, and give me way more room on my board. It's heavy, which feels nice, and it seems super sturdy, though time will tell if the interior holds up.

A good mini volume pedal
What I like most about this pedal is that it is wider than most mini volume pedals That makes it a lot easier to control.

Seems to work well and it’s small
Fit in a small bass pedal board - all I needed

Not that smooth if you want it for swells
Solid build and space saving. Great as a master volume pedal. Not great for smooth swells, as sound completely drops off at a fixed point.

This is a tone sucker
Looks cool but destroys tone at anything above mid volume. Very dissapointing
