We've had our old wall clock for YEARS but everything has it's life time and it finally gave up about four months ago (took me a while to write a review:)). We decided to try a new brand and zoomed in on a Marathon brand. So far, happy with functionality and features we were looking for: large numbers, indoor and outdoor temps, week days displaying etc. We're pleasantly surprised with the fact that, despite the overall size, all numbers are big enough in order to be seen from at least 7-8 feet. Will update in 6 months but, most likely, would recommend to others.

Simple and stylish. Can't think of any better clock than this.Pros:1) Stylish & Large display2) Clear & Sharp display, larger viewing angle3) Accurate indoor and outdoor temperature4) Radio controlled clock works perfectly (Unless like my previous Ambient Weather)5) Excellent build qualitySuggestion /Improvements:1) Get rid of alarm clock feature, I can't think of a reason why someone would want to use in this age of cellphones2) Automatic back-lit upon dark. Back-lit display to be very faint and to use batteries rather than AC

I wanted a clock that was attractive with easy to read numbers for my 89 year old mother. I replaced a 20 year old atomic clock with this one. It was easy to set up and changed to the correct time and date within minutes of setting it up. My mom likes the remote outdoor temperature as well. She really likes this clock. I am about to order one for our house and probably a few for Christmas gifts as well.

I was looking for a an atomic clock for my garage and this is perfect. Displays correct time and temperature and date automatically. Large letters easy to read and very clear. The package came with a separate transmitter for place outside to send temperture to the clock. Instructions very clear and setup took only minutes; it comes with batteries. I would definitely buy again and considering buying another for my home office.

I bought this clock to replace a similarly-featured La Crosse Technology clock that died after 15 years' of service. I like this clock since it has a smaller surrounding frame and bigger clock display area. The calendar and temperature displays are easier to read than on my old La Crosse clock. However, having just gone through the DST to Standard Time transition, this clock DID NOT automatically change to Standard Time. I had to manually turn off the DST feature to get the correct time. My old La Crosse clock and another La Crosse clock I now have automatically did the DST to Standard Time transition without any manual intervention. Had the Marathon clock automatically handled the DST to Standard Time transition, I would have given it a 5-star rating.

Wish this was still available. Been a few years and I want another one.

Love this clock! Our old atomic clock finally broke after 20 years or more of having it. We ordered this one because it has a more modern look and the large display numbers really help when trying to catch a glimpse of the temp outside on your way out the door. Setup was easy, but we did have to let it sit overnight to let it sync up with NIST (not sure if right acronym). For those that like the temp, time and moon phase all at a glance, this clock is for you!

Bought this because was good layout easy to read, had all the automated features (DST, Atomic). So set it up gets great signal for the atomic aspect of the clock, month and half later losses its mind. Set the unit up again, all set to go again month and half later mind lost yet again. So figure the atomic part is causing this thing to go wack-a-doodle. Turn that feature off, figure if it can keep time etc... OK on it's own I'm OK with that. Two months later every thing seems OK except the "DAY" is now off by 2 weeks so, go to set the correct day and not able to adjust Month/DAY, have to remove batteries in order to get into Month/Day adjust mode. If you enjoy having to set the clock etc every few months this baby is for you, If you are buying this clock to set and forget, then I would forget about buying this unit because it is just incapable of keeping time etc... Too bad because stylistic a great layout, keeping time forget it.
