Help for aging parents
Purchased in November 2023 as an aid for my aging parents. I tried it on myself and able bodied friends and it worked great. Just used it for the first out of necessity for my dad. He was in a narrow and awkward space. He had trouble scooting onto the seat and it took about 10 minutes to get him on safely. Once there it worked perfectly. I just need to figure out a better way to get someone on the seat that doesn’t have much upper body strength. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Lift
Works great. It’s not used often but when we need it it works great. Price is a bit steep. Disabled people and elderly always pay the price. But it works well and the owner of company is very nice and answers all of your questions.

Love it
Both my husband and I have taken some falls over the past couple of years but and needed help getting up. I saw this and think it is cheaper than calling an aide car and less embarrassing. We haven’t needed it yet but we tried it out and it’s perfect! It fits nicely in a closet, it is heavy duty but even I can pull it around ( I am pretty arthritic especially my hands). It is very stable for larger people. I like the fact that it has a downward slope on the front edge so there is no need to have to lift a person even a little bit.It gives me greater peace of mind knowing we have it.

For people that have difficulty getting up after a fall
I am in a wheelchair and can no longer get back into my chair if I slide out of it. I bought the IndeeLift that goes up past the seat height of my wheelchair so that I can do a board transfer back down to my bed or my wheelchair. Gravity helps any transfer. This device is also a big help for anyone who is disabled or has lost strength and needs to be lifted from the floor. Watch the videos that they provide to see if it will work for your needs. It will prevent calls to 911 when you simply need help and have not been injured. It is easily operated and works just as the film shows. I have not needed to use mine yet, but my adult daughter has lifted herself with it. It can also be helpful to those who use motorized scooters to get around. It is sort of like a dolly for people and can be used almost anywhere if there is someone around to roll it to you. I am keeping mine charged just in case!

Indeed - must have ability to get persons butt 1” days off the floor
Once on the device works well. But as my parents have reported , if you cannot get the person up and onto the plate , which may be problematic depending on the space available such as near a toilet or bathroom , that can cause issues if the person cannot push themselves into the device.

Wonderful Product!
My husband fell and could not get up without EMT help. I found this product on Amazon and bought it. Worth every penny and more for the piece of mind it gives me. When it came, I had a friend put it together--he had no trouble and it took him 15-20 minutes. I tried it out (on the friend), and it works very well. As I said, this was my way to buy "peace of mind." So happy to have it.

Not a good lift for my needs
I was hoping to be able to use this lift to get back into my electric wheelchair. I have MS, and I am usually able to briefly bear weight on my legs. I often fall while making transfers. I only weigh 125 pounds, so it is easy for one young adult to pick me up. However, the person who is most available to pick me up is 75 years old. This is not a lift that you can use by yourself. The surface of the lift is very slippery. Even with full assistance, I struggled to get into a seated position on this lift. The right angle between the back of the lift also made it very difficult. I think it took us at least an hour to get me onto it. When the lift was raised it was very scary to make the transfer from the lift to the wheelchair because it was very hard to get the wheelchair perfectly close to the lift as to not have a gap between the two. My three times of using the lift were downright traumatic. I think this lift would be most useful for people who are very mobile, but don't have the strength to get up off the ground. If you need a lift to transfer into a wheelchair, this is not for you. I suspect that if you are ambulatory but have difficulty getting off the ground, a cheaper lift would work just as well for you. Regardless of your circumstances, make sure you keep all of the packaging. I was so hopeful that it was going to work for me that I recycled the packaging. UPS charged me over $100 just to repackage it.

Awesome lift.
The IndeeLift is an awesome piece of engineering. I am an elderly female, but with a box cutter and the right Phillips screwdriver, assembled the few pieces (by myself) very quickly. First of all, the box was designed so that after the loose pieces were removed, the lift could be lowered onto the front piece of the box and the wheels could be attached with the included hex. Once assembled, it is very easy to wheel around and fits through narrow spaces. Not all falls are in open spaces, so this thing is great. Best of all, it will raise and lower to different levels for different assists. Good job, IndeeLift!
