Given as a present to an active 2 yr old.Concept is brilliant, and from a Parental point, the fact you can pack it all away easily is a bonus.Like all 'new' things it was played with immediately, but moved on to other things, but the initial interest was spot on.

This is one of the best gifts you can give a kid. The book is brilliant and they can play for hours and you can also connect it to other books. One of those toys that will last forever.

Book in good quality and the train works well on the tracks. Very entertaining! The wind up stick was a little bent when it arrived though but doesnt affect use

The quality of the book is very disappointing. The pages of the book has fallen apart the first time we opened the book. The only thing good about the book is the puzzle pieces you can remove to create a train track. You can leave the puzzle piece on the book and let the train ride on the track but it would mean having to flatten the book and the binding is poor so it ripped. You have to remove the puzzle pieces in order for the train to ride smoother. And now, because the pages are off its binding, it is very difficult to enjoy the content of the book. I'm having to store the book away after each time my 2 year old and I play with it so it doesn't further damage the book.

I bought this for my almost 2 year old for Christmas after coming across it by chance and it has been a real hit with both him and his 3 year old brother. It's a shame that it's quite tricky to use the train on the actual pages as if they don't lie flat then the train can't handle the track so mostly we take the pages out and make the giant track which is great fun. The spine did break on the first use as the pages are quite heavy but doesn't affect our overall enjoyment.

Got this for my Great Grandson who loves books, he found it fascinating but needs a little help as only 20 months old.

Got this for my nephew who is 3. He loves trains. This is a wonderful book, you can do the individual double spread tracks in the book, handy for if on your lap but if you have more space you can take them all out and make a huge track. Great fun for kids and adults alike, some useful interesting facts about the trains in the pictures which is handy when kids ask questions they expect you to know everything about!
