Very Decent build, design and smooth function
Very decent solid piece of kit, ergonomic and space saving storage. A little complex to put together (maybe I was tired that day- job better done with with 2 and there is a tricky point mounting the main big piece onto the frame where you have 2 screws from both sides (simultaneously for "wiggle room" that can't be done completely from either side first...). have been on it for a month now and love the sound, easy-to roll away, space-saving and sturdiness. Until I can move to the country and start rowing a boat with some buddies on a scenic river every Sunday morning and Kingfishers dive on trout and salmon around me... this will do (sort of).

VFM - Good solid piece of kit
Machine is easy to put together. The incline of the water tank I think does make a difference to the resistance of the activity and the sound is fairly relaxing, though the seat rollers do make some noise but it is very stable in use. Connecting a device by BT/NFC is initially quite easy but not particularly clear on repeat connections (the machine monitor stays blank so you can't tell when it is connected or not, but it shows on the connected device). The kinomap app is advertised and states that it is free for 30 or 44 days but once you start the trial it is only 15 days free use.

Outstanding
As a 50 year old man , I’m not in the best shape but I have it set at just over half resistance and it gives you a hell of a workout so there is plenty of room for adding resistance for the more serious rowers and it is very easy to assemble. The sound of the water gives you a feeling of actually rowing outside but it’s not a loud machine at all , I would highly recommend this product as it turned up quickly was perfectly packaged to prevent damage and very easy to assemble, it did take a bit of time to set the level of resistance being a water resistance machine but that is to be expected but once it’s set up it is really good to use and the seat is comfortable and glides really well, I can’t say enough good things about this product or supplier as they kept in contact throughout my purchase and after to make sure I had got it and I received in perfect condition

Very impressed.
Had an old rower for ages but the display went and was always hard going anyway.Bought this because you can use an app to make the boring long rows more exciting. The app advertised with the rower is rubbish. I now use an app called Exr which I have my iPhone connected to my Tv and is loads of fun, with mini games, practice sessions, training, races, making the whole experience much more enjoyable and like a game. The rowing action and seat movement are very smooth very easy for novice rowers.Assembly was no issue and and very straightforward was set up in around 30minsWhen this arrives bear in mind this arrives in one box and is quite heavy.Great value for money, as I wasn’t expecting this quality or the Bluetooth to be any good, so very pleasantly surprised. All in all very happy with the rower and the set up I have, as I’m already spending loads of time on it every day because I’m enjoying it and constantly want to try more things on the app. Can’t see a downside to this rower. Also if your worried about space, it is not as big as it looks in the pictures advertising it.

Well built machine
This is my third rowing machine in 5 years. It took about an hour for me to build and I'm not technically minded so that's a plus for a start. I ignored the manual and followed the helpful video I found on the Amazon product page itself. The machine itself is very robust, the seat is comfortable and the rowing action is smooth. Being a water rowing machine, you adjust the resistance by adding or removing water from it. There's a scale on the side of the water tank from 0 to 6 and you just fill the water level up to the required level (I have mine at 4.5 and row for 30 minutes every day, - enough exercise for this 56 years old man)My only gripe so far is that there's no info about maintenance or fitting a replacement coil or indeed if there is a replacement coil to fit. My last 2 rowers ended up at a recycling centre as I was not capable of fixing them. Providing information upfront about maintenance would greatly help with the buying process instead of having a machine for about a year and a half and suddenly finding out that the main part has failed and you have to buy a new part and dismantle the machine to fit it.That complaint aside, so far, so good with this one. I also bought it at a really good price (it was reduced to £288 for a short period).Update - It's now been 8 months since I've purchased the machine and it's still going strong despite being used on an almost daily basis. Very robust machine. I did email the manufacturers regarding maintenance and they told me that the rowing mechanism utilised "resistance bands" which in their words meant that I should have years of trouble free rowing. Time will tell but things are looking good so far.

Good sturdy rower - but potential app connection issues (EXR)
This is a very good, sturdy rowing machine that looks good and seems built to last. I've used it near daily for the past month and it's not developed any issues or annoyances - except one. I've subscribed to the rowing app 'EXR Rowing', which simulates training/racing in a gaming environment and is used worldwide. However, after initially having no issues the connection seemed to cause some glitch with the app, so it wouldnt register my full speed and effectively limited it during sessions. Tried multiple workarounds and contacted EXR but because they're not partnered with the app company they couldnt resolve situation.Very disappointing, but seems to still work with KinoMap. Hopefully better support and link up with EXR will resolve problem I've encountered above.Edit 040725 - Joroto provided very good support to try and resolve issue and partial refund. Workout with YouTube vids and Kinomap otherwise great so bumped up to 4 stars
