I had purchased a vintage hula girl lamp that had no shade and didn't want the traditional painted shade they would have come with however wanted something that might be similar to traditional grass skirt material. I also wanted a small shade that wouldn't overpower my lamp. I found it in this shade. It's better than anything I found and was exactly what I imagined I'd wanted but didn't think I would find. It has a VERY strong natural grass scent (a little moist as well) but that dissipated after a day (likely from the natural materials drying in the air) just for those who might not expect it. I see no manufacture flaws at all. Very happy with the shade.

Fits a small table lamp perfectly. The vertical rattan strands look nice and filter out about half the light. Just what I was looking for.

Exactly what I wished it would be - it is a perfect shade - looks good when light is off at day, works great as a mood or night light when lit at night
