A pleasure to use
I am mostly digital, but sometimes I prefer to go back to pencil and paper. I feel like I can think more clearly. And I lkke having a ‘saturation level’ with pencils so that they are easy to find. Finally, I like dark, bold marks with little pressure that erase cleanly. So, I had gotten into 9 mm pencils and wanted to try these. These feel nice in the hand. The weighted tip is nice. I replaced the HB lead with 2B lead so that it writes like a very expensive pencil, but the lead that it comes with is fine too. I carry it around with me as a backup as the pencil only carries one piece of lead . (One piece in a pencil is not a problem for me as they are long lasting and rarely break.)The eraser is ok. I wish it came with a white poly eraser, but if I forget and use this one, it’s ok. I like that it is not a puny one and that it comes with extra.Occasionally, the lead will get jammed. And I will take the pencil apart and remove it. It’s not a big deal for me because I see it as one of those rituals of writing - like of like sharpening a pencil or emptying the lead. (If I was that serious about being productive in the moment I would likely switch to a pen or a keyboard.)The draw for me is the kit itself. And the quality of the pens. I feel special when I use them and like I am capturing important thoughts. So, it’s fun. I am glad that I came across these.

LISTEN LINDA OR JACK OR WHOMEVER YOU ARE!!!!
The weight of these pencils are PERFECTION! I have struggled withsevere tendon and joint pain since I was just a little girl and when I say there is a noticeable difference in how much slower my hands get fatigued!...just WOW!I actually just stumbled across these by accident. I was just scrolling through Amazon office to get back to school supplies for my kiddos, and these caught my eye. So I gave them a shot. I loved the weight so much that I pulled out a sketchbook and drew for the first time since highschool! I truly love art and though I'm not a great artist it means the world to me to be able to doodle again. So thank you Mr. Pen and the creators of this pencil. I will be buying more in the very near future!

Missed being awesome by a hair
It's a good pencil set for the price, it comes with a lot of accessories that I am sure will keep me in mechanical pencil supplies for years. The 1.3 size is one of those in-between sizes that will get dull, you have to roll your pencil around to keep a sharp drawing point, but it's not big enough to straight up sharpen the lead. This took a little bit of getting used to, I like sharp leads to write and draw with. The barrel of this pencil should have been metal, the plastic barrel just made the pencil seem a lot cheaper, for no real reason other than the feel when you gripped it. If they replaced the plastic with aluminum or steel it would have made this pen a lot nicer. The enlarged portion of the barrel that you're supposed to grip to write with, didn't work ergonomically for me, they made this nice heavy textured grip area, I have big hands I like bigger heavier tools, then made it about 2cm too short... So for the big people who buy it for a big hand, it's too short lengthwise and for the small people, the barrel is too big of a diameter? I really don't feel like I've wasted any money on these pencils, but they are not comfortable enough or interesting enough to go into the regular rotation. I won't be buying any more of these, and they'll likely go into a drawer and get forgotten. They are not bad at all, but they just barely missed being great...

I haven't used them much
they have a metal grip that fits my big hands well, the grip is larger than most of the chrome pencils, it's kind of brushed metal, it's not plastic or smooththey seem nice, and they have eraser end you can swap out, overall I'm happy, I kind of collect mechanical pencils and with this batch, I think I'm done until I lose morein the 1.3mm these are the best I have so far unless they fall apart

Important!!! If one stops pushing out the lead it is easily fixed...
Important update: If the lead stops coming out, just pull the erasers plastic end off, then unscrew the thin part of the pencils tip. You will see the brass looking piece inside. That brass piece needs to be screwed into the thin tip part to work, and it unscrewed itself. You can put a VERY small drop of superglue in the fine threads to stop it from unscrewing again. If you put to much superglue, it will ruin it, so use just a tiny drop so it stays ONLY in the threads. It will start working normally again and these are the best mechanical pencils!I have some smaller lead mechanical pencils. They lead breaks every other word as long as I am carful, and I can't get even one word down if I write normal. THESE pencils don't break the lead even when I write heavy handed (my normal writing style). I am going to even be able to use these in carpentry work! I'll update review if the pen itself breaks when I drop it. You can't help dropping them while working in the shop.

Got one that's not working? Easy fix. But no lead sharpener.
Took the first one out of the box and it didn't work. For $10 I figured I might as well see what I could do.There are five parts. The eraser holder that pulls off. The hex tube which unscrews from the grip. The grip unscrews from the point. The point unscrews from the pencil mechanism. The mechanism has a plastic part and a metal part. It is the metal part that you have to grip. On my pencil the mechanism wasn't screwed up snug to the point. I tighten it up, just snug. Put the rest back together. Ta Da! It worked. That took 5 minutes.Otherwise it's a nice pencil at a great price. It feels solid in my hand. The button extends the lead 2-3 diameters so no problems snapping the lead.I wish it had a lead sharpener. The industry seems to think that this size doesn't need one since there are none available. I think it should have one. If needs be I can use some fine sandpaper.

If you like the width of a well loved no. 2 pencil but hate sharpening them... Omg this is the pencil for you. It's durable it's comfortable and for myself I light a heavy pen or pencil so very comfortable. But be aware the lead can be a bit tough to erase if you are heavy handed.
