They absorb odors.
These seem to absorb orders. They do not have a lasting noticeable scent. I prefer the Clorox Beads room freshener. They work faster.

No vanilla I've ever smelled.
Doesn't smell like vanilla like I thought it would. It's more like pumpkin spice or something. It doesn't stink, it just doesn't smell like Vanilla. I don't know how long it'll last, but won't buy it again when it's gone.
