XSPC G1/4" to 10mm ID, 14mm OD Rigid Tubing Fitting (For use with XSPC Metal & PETG Tubing Only), Black Chrome, 12-pack

This is my first real from scratch build. So I made a few mistakes. One being that I did not bevel the edges enough in the beginning of my build and I damaged an o-ring in two of these. I don't think that they are particularly easy to damage, more like I have particular skill in the area. I also failed to notice that I damaged them and left them in the build. I calculated a few fittings short of I needed, so I had some temporary ones in the loop. I filled the loop and ran the pump overnight with the power supply on bypass. There were no leaks. At no point did I have to tighten any of these more than the finger tight I did while building the loop. They sealed great. When the extra fittings I ordered came in I took apart sections of the loop and noticed that I had damaged the o-rings. They look good, and they seal great - even when you screw up an o-ring! Nice quality feel. The only down side I see is no hex in the center to help get an over tightened one out.

I ordered 12 hardtube fittings 16mm. I only got 11 which when coupled with their "okay" o rings made my day sad. I've worked with much higher quality sealing rings which are tougher and more resistant to cutting where about a 3rd of all my fitting rings were cut in some way or form (with a drill reamer! i couldn't even try a plastic hand one it would insta slice!) . It doesn't hurt really in the loop thank goodness but if i had cut a single more I wouldn't have been able to replace it from another fitting, because I was ultimately missing one. the metal quality is super nice as a fitting should be and even using regular pliers(not soft jaw) they weren't completely eaten like I've seen some barrows get. Overall the fittings are okay but id suggest ali express for watercooling parts that can be OEM super easily, despite the wait times/ current world "crisis". Always hunt for products unless you're rich af i guess.

Well it’s my first time doing hard line tubing using theses fittings wow they are great and tight though getting them on the tube is a bit of a pain none the less I I like them and still would buy them again

These fittings work great and run leak free for me. The only issue of note would be that the double O-rings in the fitting mean it's harder to get the tubing to fully seat. Make sure if you're using PETG or acrylic that you get the outer bevel nice and smooth or you'll tear the hell out of the first O-ring trying to get the tubing to seat.

First, the good:These have excellent build quality, and their triple O ring seal seems to be extremely tight.Now, the main issue:They’re tight. Way too tight. They’re so tight that unless I used silicone lubricant on the O rings nothing would insert without tearing them to shreds, regardless of how nicely chamfered the tube is. Getting 14mm acrylic into these is nearly impossible while they’re installed in a system. The amount of pressure you have to use is completely unacceptable— especially when you’re talking about expensive and sensitive components that simply can’t take that much force. The only way I was able to use them at all was to insert the fittings by hand while the tubing runs are outside the system, then install them and twist the fittings into place while still attached to the tubing. This was my first and last time using these fittings, unfortunately.

What can I say!? Ive only built 1 liquid cooled PC for myself but for fittings Ive only used XSPC due to price and availability. For soft tubing and hard line, they have never let me down. Works great and looks nice! (will upload pic once reliable.)
