OBSSESSED (IYKYK)!
MCs: Isaiah and KennedyOkay now, where do I start? I am totally OBSSESSED with this book (if you know, you know). From the very start of this book I just knew I was going to love it. Actually scratch that, before I even started this book, I knew; because each and every book in this series has left an imprint on my heart. I had really high expectations from this book and oh boy, did it live up to them. Play Along, joins Mile High as my top favourite and ties as my number 1 book this year. I have so enjoyed this book and my emotions were all over the place. One minute I was laughing and smiling, the next minute I was crying. Wow!I started making note of how I felt while reading the book. Especially when it made me cry. Chapter 19, the way Kennedy looks after Isaiah, that made me cry and crave for what they had. And at this point, she hasn’t even realised what she feels for him.And chapter 21, this made me sob. Seeing the connection between Isaiah and Kai, the bond they share and even after finding their special person, they have not let that take away from their bond. When Kai addresses Isaiah at the end of his speech, I just fell even more in love with their bond and it was so beautiful to see Kai show that, despite having Max and Miller, Isaiah will always be a priority to him and he was always look out for him.I lost count on the amount of times this book made me cry. It was such a special book.We were only introduced to Isaiah in book 3 of the series, but we didn’t truly get to know him until this book. And no, not just because he in the MC in this book, but because there was so much more to him than what he portrays in front of other people. He is a pure soul and an amazing human. It felt as it he was a real person and I could feel everything he was feeling. If you love someone, love them like Isaiah loves his dear ones. Not just Kennedy, his brother, his nephew, his friends, everyone. As for Kennedy, I fell in love with her as I watched Isaiah falling even more deeply in love with her;and the more the layers were peeled back and we got a glimpse of the true Kennedy. Kennedy’s mother, I’m sorry but she needs to be thrown into a bin. In fact she should not even be called a mother; how can one treat anyone they way she treated Kennedy, let alone their own daughter. And although, I hate Dean for how he treated Isaiah, I loved that he was always there for Kennedy, even when her own mother wasn’t.This book made me so emotional, it made me smile, laugh, cry and angry. It was such a special book. I cannot wait to read this whole series again ahead of book 5 in April next year. So excited for it!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, PICK UP THESE BOOKS AND GIVE THEM A READ! THEY ARE AMAZING. AND SO WORTH YOUR TIME.AND NORMALLY, I WOULD NOT GET UPSET IF YOU DIDN’T LIKE A BOOK THAT I REALLY LOVE; BUT THESE ARE JUST SOMETHING ELSE, SO PLEASE DON’T SHOW ANY HATE TO THESE BOOKS.

The sweetest romance sports romance book
𝑷𝑳𝑨𝒀 𝑨𝑳𝑶𝑵𝑮🩺🖋️🍔🧢💍⛈️⚾🪥-𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 :💜 accidental mariage in Vegas🤍 he fell first, obsessed MMC💜 golden retriever boy🤍 one bed💜 workplace & sport romanceI was FULLY invested in both Isaiah and Kennedy from the start of this book. Their banter is top notch and the chemistry was just SO DAMN GOOD. Isaiah was sweet, obsessed, and such a layered character. I’m actually obsessed him. He must be protected at all costs. And Kennedy… I loved her drive to work for what she wanted. Her black cat energy was well earned but when she ran blocks in a storm to be with him because she knows he gets anxious??? I died. She always showed up for him and it melted my heart.

Who's the sweetest man? It's a trick question, Isaiah is.
I was right, I ended up loving the entire series. I took a peak at the next book, and it's just my luck - the next book is Rio's story, the one I've been looking forward to since Mile High, is not out yet. At the very least, it's only a few months until it comes out.But back to this review. I guess the running theme through this series is playboy-on-the-surface-but-actually-really-sweet athletes. Okay, maybe not Ryan, and Kai was already pretty much done with that lifestyle when we got to him. Isaiah, however, confidently fist the bill. He lived hard, but when he found out the love of his life is finally single, he dropped it and made it his mission for her to notice him.Kennedy is really lovely and funny. I do, however, think that what happened to her professionally, is kind of unlikely today. Not because sexism doesn't exist, I know it still very much does. I just think on how the tables have turned and businesses have to at least appear like they're hiring diversely. That's why I think sexism today would be a lot more subtle, and no less hurtful to be on the receiving end of it. On the other hand, I found her such an interesting character. She has trouble with casual physical touch, and seeing her overcome it, and seeing Isaiah helping her through it is simply inspirational.Of course everything works out - this is romance, I mean c'mon. I am glad though, as even though I know I can expect a happy ending, every once in a while the story still gets me all tense and praying that it all works out.Once again, I CANNOT wait for the next book to come out. Agh, patience is not my strong suit.

5 stars again
Isaiah just wow! What a man. I love that we got to see the real Isaiah and not just the playboy class clown that he likes everyone to see. I love how he is so patient and understanding with Kennedy and how well they complement each other! Can't wait for Rio's book!

So sad that this book has finished
I think this was my favorite book of the series. And that’s difficult to say because I LOVE all of them, but Isaiah and Ken’s story is just heart-warming. They are both so funny, made me laugh in most chapters. Plenty of spicy scenes too!! Also so lovely to follow a bit more Kay and Miller as well as everyone else. Cried plenty of times, but mostly I was smiling throughout the whole book. Absolutely loved it and so sad it has finished.

Lovely romance with two great MC's
Lovely romance with two great MC's and a brilliant supporting cast. Uplifting the way they were endeavouring to do the very best for each other, despite the way it might be difficult for themselves. A little more angst than I would have preferred and Kennedy's doubting got a tad tedious, if still understandable given her atrocious upbringing, but neither swamped the core positive narrative. Predictable, but great resolution to the barrier to their relationship continuing and a lovely HEA ending (vitally important!)Overall, worth roughly 4.2 stars IMHO, rounded down to 4 stars in the limited Amazon system.
