Game Changer
Use to use Proraso pre shave cream and soap. This is like having both products in one and does a better job. It saves time, it’s more cost effective and saves space.Just three drops to my face and three drops to my head. Best to apply and shave after a warm shower or wash your face with warm water and soap.No irritation or cuts, just a nice smooth close shave. Wish I knew about shaving oils before. This one seems to have the best reviews and is all natural. Ordered another 3 bottles after trying one.

Maximum Glide indeed
I used to use Total Shaving Solutions oil, however after trying Somersets oil, i won't be going back. My beard it typically tough and I shave every other day. This oil is easily applied, has a decent scent and doesn't make your skin feel too oily. The less dense oil also makes cleaning the razor head far easier. Nice product at a reasonable price.

DE Shavors Will Love This
I've been a DE traditional wet shaver for over 10 years now having been fed up with the exorbitant cost of multi blade disposable razors, and the fact that a DE Razor produces a shave like no other.I saw "Mantic59" review this product recently and thought I'd give it a go.My shave consisted of a thorough wash with Nivea face wash for men and then I applied three drops to my palm and rubbed it into my already wet face. I was aware of a smell that was not unpleasant and sought of thought it must be working.I then performed a downward shave, in the community this is one pass.I wet my face, then applied a further couple of drops of Somerset Oil and performed an against the grain shave. Not a single nick or cut. Very, and I mean VERY close shave. I used a https://www.amazon.co.uk/MERKUR-DOVO-38C-Safety-Razor/dp/B002RBGYXW/ref=sr_1_1?hvadid=79920783195854&hvbmt=bp&hvdev=c&hvqmt=p&keywords=merkur+38c&qid=1568903895&s=gateway&sr=8-1 paired with an Astra blade.Cold rinse with an alum block, then Witch Hazel. Very pleased with my shave and very pleased with the product.Of course you can't see as easily were you have been without soap, but you won't be disappointed with this purchase.

Excellent economical shave oil
I was converted to shaving oil after trying a sample of Decleor Men Essentials Aromessence Rasage Shave Perfector Serum; it's an excellent product but darn expensive. So I have since then sampled a large number of less expensive oils, and this is the closest I have come to the Decleor in performance. So it's not actually the best oil available, but the best 'affordable' oil. I tend to use this as an 'everyday' oil and the Decleor as a 'special occasion' oil.Provided you keep a sharp razor and are diligent about shaving every day, just 2 or 3 drops of this oil are enough to provide a smooth shave with reduced razor burn and rash and fewer nicks and cuts. Uses natural ingredients too, unlike some shave oils.
