Love the Nexus 5X phones and wanted to get a 3rd. You can only get a refurbished ones now. Unfortunately,the phone I got was defective. I plugged the phone into charge and it got excessively hot (117.5°F). Hot to touch, hot enough to discolor the label on the back of the phone. Returned the unit immediately.Too bad. I really wanted the phone.

The phone is defective.It died within 3 month of use due to the "bootloop" issue, where a manufacturing defect causes the phone to no longer turn on. It is a known issue and there has already been a class action lawsuit over this, which LG has lost.However, this seller is KNOWINGLY SELLING DEFECTIVE PRODUCT only to have their customers find out after the fact.In addition, given the EXTREMELY SHORT window for refund or even warranty, chances are, the phone will STOP WORKING JUST AFTER THE COVERED TIMER PERIOD and you will be regretting this purchase.In addition, despite the seller's claim, the phone does not work easily with Sprint and it took me an entire month with Sprint's technical support team to have the phone working on their network.Overall, this seller's conduct is morally unethical and does not deserve a place on Amazon's platform.

When I originally received the phone, it wouldn’t charge. I had purchased it in advance of a trip in case there were issues, as we planned to use this phone as a travel phone. They did end up sending a new charger, but the phone never held a charge for a whole day. We took it on our trip and never even got to use it as it went into bootloop. It won’t go past the Google screen (a common issue for this phone). When I contacted the seller, I was told there was nothing they would do, as I was just outside of the warranty period - even though we couldn’t even use the phone when we received it. I will never purchase from them, again.

Bought this phone to replace a broken galaxy. The price was right. The phone is cute and pretty simple to use, had no problem setting it up, just slipped my sim card in and it worked fine. Some cons about this phone is the camera.... It's sliggish! Also for some reason I cannot download the Netflix app. The volume buttons are right next to the lock screen button. Other then that phone is great does what I need it to do.

This is one of the BEST Android devices I have had, and I've had many. The battery life is amazing, the phone will handle anything I use it for, which is everything..gaming, texting all the time, to do notes & more. When I need to charge it, it charges up very fast, I would say about 45 minutes from 0-100. Also I love the design and feel of it. For this price you can't go wrong.

I really regret that I bought that trash. I bought it while I was going out of country, I used it for only 2 days. the battery almost killed me. Since it started to get hot, took it off my body, then I saw smoke coming from the battery. I trash my money.

Overall the phone seems fine so far; however, it would not accept a CDMA chip for Verizon service. This was a disappointment. It did take the GSM chip and I set it up with AT&T. I have not yet verified MMS (pictures), but using AT&T I had to set up the data in a different way. I am hoping all goes well through the different carrier. In general, it is what I was looking for to give my son the apps and advantages of a quality smart phone. It also could have looked a little better as a refurbished phone. I bought the same phone refurbished for my daughter a year ago and it looked like new. This one had a worn out sticker on the back and a small chip near the plug. Because it was a gift, I was a bit embarrassed by this. If it's not a gift and you are aware that it is refurbished it's not really a big deal.

Works just like my previous Nexus 5X (which I fell on and smashed). Very happy
