I ordered the 150 lb size.. I have a measuring scale that is accurate within 2 ounces. After many attempts it would not exceed past 70 lbs of strength. I compared it to other brands only rated at 100 lbs and they were getting 70 lbs of breaking strength. This 150 lb is really a true 70 lb test. I tied it both ways with the line being dry and also wet. Terrible misreprentation. People just trust the manufactures, I do not, thus the reason for my testing. This is literally embarrassing for a company, they should be ashamed at their claimed numbers. Hope this helps in your decision.

This line great. Strong as the good stuff. My experience will braid breaking its usually a result of line getting weakened or frayed and not being noticed. I had one pole that had a little burr on one of the eyes that was a great braid cutter. Had I not noticed I might have blamed the line. Another time I had a swivel with a burr again great line cutter. Anyways that has been my experience and I haven't been burnt yet with the less expensive braid.

Great line overall. Haven't changed the line since I put it on. I've been out fishing every weekend to other weekend. I thought maybe by the 4th or 5th time out on the saltwater, It would become fragile and I'd have to change it, nope not with this line! Recently caught this 34" bull redfish, easily bullying it to the pier.I'm glad I bought the 1092yards roll... Will be spooling all my heavy reels with it. I also bought the 20lb for my light reels and also works great.Best part about it, is the braid is alot thinner than the mono- fishing line.

While it works most of the time, due to twisting it gets tangled on the spool no matter how careful I reel it, and the next cast will fail as the line catches another winding and creates a mess. Had to take a lot off the spool to prevent this. Still, when it happens, the line gets jerked and that's that. Failed cast, the spinner or crank bait gets tangled in the line, and whatnot.

Stuffs junk, put some weight on it and it looks to have melted/stretched at the failure point. Put it on load cell and didn't make it to the 200lb mark. Also tried to do a pull-up with it tied to the ceiling, coundnt hold 200lbs or even get my feet off the ground. Waste of money.....

Just tested this line, the 550# numerous times with numerous knots and never got more than 200 pounds out of it

This is very nice line for the money very strong works very smooth and cast very well would recommend

Breaks easily. Had a hook stuck on a dock upon trying to unhook the line. The line broke without much effort. With nylon line you have to cut it.

This is really quite simple...I will never know if the yardage on the spool is exactly as described...but it seems to work quite nicely and it is everything as described in their ad. It arrived promptly, on time. Feels the way it should feel and looks the way it should look. Good transaction.

I purchased this fishing line to replace the rigging on a Pond Boat my grandfather built in 1937. The product came very quickly and it looks great, however, it turns out to be too slippery for my application.
