Cuts grass in one swoop and then that’s it! Expensive purchase!
The product works and defines cuts the grass really well. However, they are NOT value for money because they break very quickly. They are NOT durable and they have NO decent longevity. And the price is appalling for such a dismal product. I won’t be buying them again and will sell my AMW attachment!

Do the job!
The only problem is that they would be better value at 12 in a pack rather than the 9 you get. They cope well with brambles, established nettles, hawthorn saplings and of course grass but do wear down. I used a total of 21 when clearing the hedge row around a 4.5 acre field which had not been tackled for a number of years and knowing what it was going through it was still good value.

Very Good for cutting, but short lifespan
It does a brilliant job in streaming / trimming/ cutting, but one almost needs a new pack each time you need to do a job. Thats quite a costly venture.

Good product
As advertised, can’t really go wrong.

POOR QUALITY= RIP-OFF!
These “cutting sticks” are of an extremely poor quality, so much so that I’m contemplating binning the Strimmer attachment for the unit and going back to a LINE FED strimmer. I think they’d be cheaper if you could find them in DIY stores, which tend to stock just about ALL of the other types of cutting attachments; GOOD LUCK finding them in one!

not ergonomic
This machine does what it is supposed to do but with difficulty. The balance of the tool is not good and therefore tiring to use. It comes with a strap to wear over the shoulders to support the weight of the instrument. Unfortunately the strap in its tightest position still does not bring the trigger switch within reach of my right hand and I have to take some or all of the weight of the machine on my hands. With the strap at its tightest it is a struggle to get head, shoulder and right arm through the loop of the strap. The best tool is probably the grass strimmer, although very long grass tends to wrap itself around the mechanism and slow it down until it stops cutting. The strimmer blades do work much better than the nylon line that I had on a previous B&D electrical strimmer where every 10 seconds I had to stop and lengthen the cord or my previous Bosch battery strimmer where the batteries only lasted a few minutes between charges and were useless the following year.I found it difficult to apply any pressure to the branch I was cutting at the end of the rather flexible pole to which the chain saw is attached. The hedge trimmer is small with narrow gaps between the teeth of the blade making it very slow and clumsy when cutting. Also because of the length of the flexible poles, it is difficult to put much pressure on the part of the hedge being cut. I have to take off the support strap every time I need to change the angle of the cutting head as I cannot reach the tilt mechanism while the strap is around my head and shoulder. Unlike a standard hedge cutter, where one can alter the angle of cut by altering the position of ones arms, this is neither easy nor does one have the precision or manouvreability when the cutting blade is at the end of a long pole, changing the cutting angle of the blade is therefore essential and needs to be done frequently I use a ordinary 600mm blade cable electrical (Bosch) hedge trimmer for all but the impossible to reach parts of the hedge, as it is so much easier to use and so much more efficient.
