Fantastic, fast, clear!
This monitor is perfect for my use (Call of duty mostly but also some MMO). I upgraded from a 1080p@240 alienware and the reduced hertz is a fair trade-off for the increased resolution. "Overclocking" to get 180hz is a little bit hidden in the menu but once you find it, its good to go. Works well with g-sync on 4090, no screen tearing, and everything is so much clearer. Particularly text, but more importantly I can see stupid little call of duty heads further away in the game now lol. Also very easy to mount on a VESA monitor arm, screws are provided already on the monitor.I'd recommend this if you're looking for a 2k/QHD monitor. The one gripe I have is that a pop-up showed on the screen talking about a stand-by mode, and I had to click the monitor button thing to close it. Fortunately it happened out of game, but I hope it doesn't happen again. But it also popped up to say that my game was displaying at 1080p which reminded me to increase the resoution in the game settings, pretty cool!

Best monitor I've owned
I've had some really bad monitors where colours don't seem realistic, or quality is really bad but this is the best one I've ever had. Great picture and build quality. For the price it's great, I would love a second one if these soon.

An impressive monitor
27inch 1440p monitor with a clear bright picture makes it easy for reading on screen text. Works well with games too with no noticeable stuttering.

Almost but not quite great
The saturation, brightness and sharpness are excellent, especially the reds which really leap off the screen. However, like some other purchasers, I have found that I get a marked halo along the leading edge of objects with straight lines. I play a lot of Wizard101 which is a family orientated game with bright colours & high contrast elements in scenes. When scrolling, I get a 1mm or so pale halo along the leading edge, which I find very distracting, especially since it shows on all objects. I have managed to reduce it after some playing around with the settings, but can't remove it all together.Having said that, it does depend on the game. I've tried Doom, Doom Eternal, Unreal & a couple of other FPS games & being that they are much darker, this problem doesn't occur at all.It may or may not bother you, depending on how picky you are, but given that it cost me nearly £300 & this never happened on my previous £120 monitor, I'm a bit disappointed. It is particularly distracting when scrolling around web pages especially as the type is small due to the higher resolution. Again though, this does depend upon the colour scheme of a particular page.I do feel that I need to take LG to task about the refresh rate. Yes it will do 180Hz, but not out of the box, & not in the normal mode. You have to put it into G-Sync mode at which put an Overclock option becomes available. Being that overclocking in general can cause problems, some people may not be comfortable putting it into this mode. This is also the only way to make the HDR active. This time though there is no option, G-Sync switches it on whether you want it or now.Overall a good monitor, if you can live with the limitations.

Nice monitor
Coming up from a 1080 monitor this a treat for the eyes, I find this is totally adequate in a well lit room not yet seen it in very bright sunlight. Colours seem fine without being overly garish, not played with the settings as yet as haven't needed to but the menus are easy to find with the joystick on the bottom side of the monitor, double click and your in.I watched someone playing league of legends and company of hero's on this and there was no ghosting to be seen so for a mid range monitor I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it.

I know reviews are supposed to be about quality...
... but if it's defective, it affects me after the money and time I spent on it.Poor brightness and contrast across screen. Lower left corner will show brighter than rest of black area.
