Excellent metal frame phone clamp. Holds the phone well without a tightener, held an S10+ quite happily. It fits on most camera/pod mounts fine. It's not too heavy for a metal clamp, but it's so far seemed very sturdy. The tension of pivot is good to hold the phone still after tilting it. I'm not sure what sort of lifespan these would have, as for using this on a daily basis I think the springs in the clamp would be fine if not stressed too much.Good for the price.

Absolutely great bit of,kit for the price, phone is held very secure, big enough for s23 ultra,Mounts very well into hot shoe and tightens nicely without feeling like it will come loose at any point.Good if you've been asked to get some short bits of video for socials while you take photos with a proper camera

This "Smallrig" smartphone holder allows any smartphone (mine's 6.5 inch screen) to be mounted to any mini or full-size tripod! it's an essential accessory for anyone into smartphone photography! Can be rotated to portrait/vertical video, or landscape orientation. All metal construction - with black finish, there are loads of plastic smartphone mounts available here and elsewhere - please AVOID THEM ALL!!! this mount also comes with two in-built cold-shoe slots for external accessories such as microphones, or video lights, as well as four standard screw mounts - to which you could attach a 'magic arm' or something similar! Throughly recommended!!!

This is a good bit of kit. It seems to be fully metal and is well put together. The springs that hold the phone are quite strong and putting the phone in it one handed is difficult, but at least the phone isn't going anywhere. The pivot points are quite difficult to move, so if you have this on a cheaper camera you will need to be careful moving it while attached to the camera as it could weaken the hotshoe itself. Seems to be fine though on a pro level camera. Again, it isn't going to move of its own volition so that is the trade off.Would recommend this product.

Solidly Built. I can use it to hold my phone on a tripod and with the digital SLR camera. Lots of uses for different setups. Good quality and not that heavy even though its metal. Confident that the phone is secure when using it

The material quality is excellent, and overall it feels like a premium product. However, there are some design flaws. I bought it to use on top of my DSLR mirrorless Canon R5, but I couldn’t fit my iPhone 16 Pro in vertical orientation. Additionally, the horizontal fit isn’t perfectly level, which was a bit disappointing.That said, the grip and materials used are definitely top-notch. I’m giving it 3 stars mainly due to the limitations with fitting vertical.
