Update at the bottom - the size you choose really does make a difference.I'm typing this review on this pillow right now. I was hoping that this would be more comfortable, but the usable desk area is unfortunately too small to be useful. I tried it with my iPad + magic keyboard combination and I have to position the iPad just right so that it doesn't fall over. Also notice how much space there is between my torso and the laptop in the photo. This is to have a reasonable distance for typing. If I bring it closer like the marketing photos show, it's too close to type on and the arm rests are uncomfortably high for someone my height (5'7"). I'd love to have something like this where I could bring the pillow close and the desk would extend far enough so I could type. I'll update if I try the small one.UPDATE - the small version works a whole lot better and somehow has even more desk space. This review has been rectified!

As someone who housesits for a living while going to school online, this is one of the best purchases ive ever made. I dont have to worry about where to set up or if they even have a spot to set up my laptop, i bring the spot with me! My laptop does not slide off the pillow, my laser mouse reads just fine on the fabric so i dont have to use a mousepad, there is plenty of room for my legs, i love the pockets on the sides, the laptop is at the perfect height to reduce tech neck. The only reasons i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, was because i don't like the method used for travel packing, and the height where my elbows sit is just an inch or so too high. It is very awkward to try to use ur body to squish it down in order to hook and tighten the single strap provided to wrap it up. I believe a much wider, preferrably ratcheting, strap is necessary and i am worried the loop you hook the strap into is going to rip off soon. I will probably end up purchasing a furniture strap to do this. For my second concern, using it with ur elbows resting on it for long periods of time begins to feel like ur shoulders are in ur ears, causing some tightness or soreness, but that could just be a me issue.

I was pleasantly surprised that I liked this so much.It's super sturdy and comfortable to hold.I only wish it had a handle or something to make it easier to bring from room to room.Otherwise it's a good purchase. I'd buy again.

I work from home, and sometimes I don't want to get out of bed to work. I have been using a large pillow as my desk on those days, and I wanted something more suited to the purpose. I bought this for the explicit purpose of being able to put my laptop on it and work. The height if great and is perfect for me to not feel like my shoulders hurt all day. The width of the size L is also good for me, and I am 5'1" and 220 lbs. My only complaint is the depth of the surface area. It's not quite big enough for a laptop, and I find myself having to re-adjust my laptop so it doesn't slide off throughout the day. I can make this one work for now, but I think if I ever decide to replace it, I will look for one with a larger surface area.

I work from home a few days a week and every once in a while, my work extends into the evening hours. I have a home office but sitting at my desk all day is sometimes very tiring. I purchased this big memory foam desk pillow so that I can relax on my couch and still put my laptop up & have a comfortable working area. This pillow is big but very comfortable. It has armrests that wrap around the sides of you and they also have little pockets for random things like your cell phone or the remote, etc. It’s so nice to just lean back into my comfortable couch and have this big soft desk in front of me. I am going to buy another one for my husband as well. It’s tightly packaged & very compact when it arrived. I took it out of the package and it instantly poofed out. The fabric is soft, but sturdy. And I have spilled on it a couple times and was able to easily sponge it off with a warm sponge & a little dish soap. This would be a great gift.

I think it was a bit expensive for what it is but it works well. It’s comfortable and useful. I was unsure about the size difference but I’m glad I went with the smaller one it’s perfect and so comfortable for my arms, the latter would be too big for sure. I’m small for reference, 5’0 and 115 lbs so small is great.There’s one piece that is a big awkward and I’m not sure where it’s supposed to go so I sit with it underneath the desk part but I wish it was removable because I don’t use it or like it.

I got this as a gift, and I honestly did not realize that I needed it until I started using it. It is perfect to use while working on the couch, favorite chair or bed. It is also great to take in the car. It holds it structure, durable and has pockets so your remote, phone or pens don't go missing.

i bought this for my dad, he's a disabled senior who's partially paralyzed. He needed something to help him stay and feel secure whilst sitting upright and something durable enough to rest drinks or plate of food on.i had originally 3 pillows (one either side of him and one on his lap) with a large wooden cutting board for his table. but the pillows were uneven, moved, slid off the bed, etcTHEN I FOUND THIS!! it's really helped him so much. It goes around either side of his body, and he feels safe and secure, while being able to do his crossword books, read, play game on his phone, using THIS product.It has pockets so anytime he watched tv the converter wouldn't get lost. The pockets are huge and can hold so much.My dad really appreciated this pillow. He's used it every single day since it arrived.the product is firm, but not hard or uncomfortable. It arrives looking extremely squished. OK after leaving it for a few hours to expand.Found it good for putting a laptop on but it's a bit too tall for comfortably playing console games on.

I purchased this as I have a neck injury and thought this would make me more comfortable working from home…. and it does. When it arrived, I gave it some hours to ‘expand’ and take shape and then tested it out. Handy to keep things in the pockets either side and a good flat area in front to either have my laptop, keyboard… or food!! I did notice though that there was a small hole in the cover and I was a little worried that with time and movement, this would get bigger and as it is not a cheap purchase by any stretch, I reached out to the senders. They were incredible and I everything you would want in customer service. They immediately sent out a replacement and within 2 days it arrived which was a lot quicker than my original, so a big ✔️ there. The item itself allows me to work more comfortably and on bad days, in bed, so all in all a great product and a great supplier
