Better than the cheaper alternatives
This is my second one of these in less than a year, but they are definitely better quality than some of the cheaper options. My first one failed by pegging the gauge. I tried 3 cheaper options, 1 before the oem and 2 after this failure. All 3 off the cheaper versions kept triggering low oil pressure check engine lights. With this latest oem sending unit, just like the first, no CE lights and accurate gauge readings. Fingers crossed that it holds up.

Fix your oil pressure gauge today
The sensor was so easy to install and it fixed the my oil pressure gauge in my 05 Escalade. The plug fit great also. Threads already had locker on it and it didn’t leak at all.

Best Price Out There
This GM switch was about half the price of the dealer and other "gm parts" outlets. It came packaged from AC Delco. For information, I was working on a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer w/ 5.3L. I was able to replace the sending unit without disconnecting any lines, hoses, or removing the intake manifold as some of the manuals recommend. Even my repair shop told me that the intake required removal, quoting over $800 for the job. Do yourself a favor and add the Lisle 13250 Oil Pressure Switch Socket (Made in the USA!!) and the $5 filter for a total of around $50. IN THIS APPLICATION, I was able to place the socket directly onto the sending unit by hand, then attach a 3/8 ratchet with a built-in swivel directly to the socket.I realize I was fortunate and that not all vehicles may not be this easy. I respectfully suggest looking at your application as I almost fell prey and paid the big money. This may at least help Trailblazer dudes out! And for the record, I'm just a shade tree "mechanic" that does stuff like this to save a few bucks so I can take the old bag out for dinner once in a while. Hope this helps.
