Very practical
This worked out great. I have two on each desk. One for their pencil and the other for the dry erase marker. Keeps the pencils from being all over the floor.

Convenient
I've used these pencil holders for several years but purchased these new for our new desks. The black is perfect for keeping those marker and pencil smudges (students tend to get on them) from being so obvious. The sticky normally lasts the whole year, although I have about 1 student a year who mess with them and pulls them off. It's so convenient to have a pencil on the desk ready to go!
