I fire civil war artillery. I have tried and tried different products: including plain soft ear plugs and custom molded.These are the best. They take that initial shock out but you can still hear voices.

This should not be your primary earpro for shooting (especially if shooting at an indoor range). I used these in conjunction with my electronic over-ear protection, and it was perfect. I used to use foam earplugs along with the electric earpro, but that really limited the benefits of being able to hear conversations while protecting my hearing. This product is a perfect in between solution, allowing me to hear range instructions clearly while maintaining the protection I wanted (and we are shooting some higher caliber firearms). I would not suggest using these without the additional earmuffs.The other thing I would point out is that removing these from your ears can be a challenge. They fit great, but the tab you use to remove them from your ears is very small and difficult to grab.

Hated these. The fit was off and not a very quality product.

Good noise cancelation. Comfortable. Got these for shooting my guns. I don't notice much difference in the impulse reduction when I shoot. They also work well for mowing and other loud tasks.

05/02/2024: WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY FOR GUN RANGE SHOOTING!!!I went to the gun range and forgot to bring my Walker Over-the-Ear earmuffs. I had the DYNAMIC ear plugs in my bag, as well as my cheap disposable orange bell-shaped Honeywell earplugs. I thought this is a good time to test out the DYNAMIC earplugs. I pulled out my G19 Gen 5 and shot my pistol. Immediately after the first shot, my ears immediately started ringing. I pushed the earplugs in deeper and took another, and again, my ears started ringing. I pulled the DYNAMIC earplugs out and put in my disposable Honeywell ones. The Honeywell ones eliminated the ringing in my ears and I was able to finish my range session.WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY FOR GUN RANGE SHOOTING!!!

The orange ones miiiiight work for you, if you are outdoors, all alone and shooting something with a long barrel. Orange didn't work at indoor range, still had pain when shooting. I switched over to the black plugs, and they seemed to drown a lot of sound (couldn't hear the RSO) but they leak sound when talking or swallowing. TBF the super cheap orange disposable ones work better 😞
