Needed a black tie quick for a shoot. Arrived quickly, with excellent care and excellent quality. Black as described, perfect length, and marvelous look.

This was purchased for my son's 8th grade formal. He wanted to go looking like a John Wick! He loved this tie! It is made well. We were happy with our purchase.

Pros:-Glossy, but not too glossy. It doesn't look like you rented it from a cheap tux-shop.-Long - at 5'9", the back of the tie is only about 4 to 6 inches shorter than the front and it's the same width. I like the look, but some people may not. But if you're even considering a really skinny tie like this one, then I guess you already know what you're getting into.- Stitching - seems durable. Material is good too. Doesn't look cheap or gimmicky like some Amazon ties I've seen.Cons:I actually intended on getting this for my 9 year old, but it's too long for him. Usually with ties, you can tie them off so that the back is a bit longer in relation to the front so you can get it to fit a smaller-ish kid (like 4 foot tall or so) without it looking too odd. This one, not so much. It's definitely an adult-sized tie (as mentioned above on the length). Not really a down-side if you're adult-sized.

This was a pleasantly surprising nice looking tie given the price, making it a good value1) It's skinny as advertised. Wider ties look like bibs on my 5'4" body so I'm a fan of this size.2) I got the red, which is an orange-red I'd say rather than a fire-engine red or a a darker red. It's not garish, just vibrant. No concerns about wearing it.3) the fabric, despite the material and the price, doesn't look cheap. It has a bit of a sheen but as noted above, not at all garish, not cheap looking, it doesn't look like silk, but I'd be fine wearing it out to, say, our philharmonic concerts. It has a decent weight and a solid slip-thru in the back. Some cheaper ties don't have one at all and a lot have ones that feel (and often do) like they'll only last a few outings before coming detached. This one is nicely done and centered (another issue I've seen with cheap ties)4) it's a good lengthHonestly, I didn't expect much for the price and was, as I said, very pleasantly surprised by look and feel and construction. A very good value so far

When The title said slim tie, it means slim. It's only about an inch wide, it seems kind of absurd looking on some body types. The tie seems decent enough quality. The purple is a lovely rich color. The tie looks nice. I was just surprised that the thickest part of the tie was about an inch of crossed.
