I'm writing this in October 22, I bought this to avoid turning on my heating, as who can afford that anymore. With this I can control my spending.Something to note if you're considering purchasing a Calor gas heater, is that at the moment YOU CANNOT BUY A NEW CALOR GAS BOTTLE. So you either need to already have a bottle, or buy a used one so that you can swap it for a new bottler. I didn't know this and it's been a real mission getting a used a bottle, they're in serious demand.Heat wise - I'm only heating a small room, about 4m x 4m, I blasted it on full for about 10 mins before realising I was slowly cooking myself. Turning it down to 1 seems to be just right, but it is only October, come Jan / Feb it might be on full.I can't fault the heater, simple to use, connect the bottle and light it up. On carpet moving it around with the bottle inside isn't the easiest, but not a real problem for me.It has built in safety devices should the monoxide levels get too high, but I'd also recommend having a monoxide alarm in the same room just in case, though at 4.1kW max it should be fine unless you're using it in a really tiny room.

We are very pleased with this portable calor gas heater. We use it during the day to keep the back conservatory/ lean-to warm and help reduce the cold dampness. It warms very quickly and easy to manoeuvre should we need to as it is on castors. Lights first time mostly and we have a warm comfortable room within 5 to 10 mins of lighting it. It certainly takes the chill off the recent bitterly cold snowy days and cosy for the dogs! 🐕 good value for money and only need it on first setting. I think we would cook if left on the higher settings. Ideal instant heater highly recommend and fast delivery.

Bought this to heat a log cabin in the garden.The unit arrived swiftly and in perfect condition.Once the 13kg Butane cannister is inserted the unit is ready to go.Instructions are simple enough and the unit fired up and worked as it should.Only slight quirk is the unit can onlybe turned off by the regulator which is perfectly fine when you are shutting the unit down but a bit of a pain when yiu just want to turn the unit off fow a few minutes!When leaving the unit you should always turn the regulator off i accept but would be nice to be able to stop the unit which the heaters cintrols!As for heat, it kicks out a lot of heat and works as well as i expected.There is smell being given off but i am sure (hoping!) it's because the unit has been used for the first time.ALWAYS use a Co2 detector when using ANY gas appliance indoors, the unit has an oxygene depletion switch that apparently shuts the unit down should oxygene levels drop but a quality Co2 detector is a must. Although these units have been used indoors for decades you should always be carefull with emissions and keep the room checked!All round a decent heater that works well, just hoping the funny smells subsides soon!Would like to add tonthis review that the unit seems to switch itself off due to the oxygene depletion sensor after using in a 5m x 5m log cabin meaning it is not seemingly suitable for smaller room sizes!I would not call 5m x 5m small and the cabin is probably less insulated than the average house/room!So it seems a very safe if unusable heating device in my humble opinion.In hindsight i would have been better stiking with electric powered heating, more stable, no fumes and no limit on how long you can use it.Luve n learn!

Great little heater and found the price was reasonable, dog's seem to love it, a great way to warm part of the house if you don't want to heat the whole house, we have used this so far for a week and seems to give out plenty of heat on just the first setting, not sur yet how long a 15kg gas bottle will last us but definitely happy with the heater especially as the room is nice and toasty within 10 minutes.

Initial issues with getting the heater started, however with perseverance it did work, fantastic heater and hoping it saves me a few pennies. With not turning the heating on and using it to warm one main room.Be warned getting the gas for the unit was quite challenging. So maybe shop around first to have it all in place. do not get this Glow Warm Portable Gas Heater, pilot flame won't stay on, we have only used it once. we got it in the summer, but only started using it in December. the return window is only a month and we can't contact the seller at all. not happy. I expect more from amazon !!

Product as described. Prompt delivery and arrived when stated. Easy to use, easy to move around ( for a pensioner) very effective and couldn’t be more delighted. Wish I had purchased one earlier.

These heaters are what they are. Put off a good heat when they are working, and usually have very few problems.Once consistant problem they do have are the ignitions. If anything goes wrong, it's always the ignition.Mine just wouldn't stay on, so I had to return it. They can be quirky with how long you have to hold the button down before they stay ignited, but mine just would not play ball.The company were good as gold when I returned the item, dealt with it professionally and had it collected the next day and processed a refund immediately. I thought that was very good service, so I didn't want to just 'one star' my review. I may have just been unlucky.In the end, I spent 3 times as much on a provence gas heater and that has proven money well spent, if quite a bit more costly initially.
