Amazing Value for Pro Quality!
Just got the Royale Legend pole and picked up the Royale Legend baitcaster reel and boy what a combo! I love them both! I ordered a cheaper Ugly Stick casting pole for my Dad and there is a huge difference between the two poles. The Ugly Stick feels like about the weight (a little heavier) but is thick thru the handle... and I have trouble with that for my preference. Tne KastKing pole gives you more control. The Ugly Stick is a good pole, but nothing like the Kastking. The Ugly Stick feels more like a two hand heave type of pole. The Kastking pole feels better in my hands and is good for flipping and long casts one handed. Sure it’s slightly more expensive but very much worth it. I got the one piece 7” MH, run 20lb Kastking braid with a KastKing 12lb Flourokote leader and the rod responds perfectly. Very sensitive but with the power to pull through cover. I admit i guess I might be a bit of a KastKing fan boy but only because they’re earned it with me. I have some very nice poles and reels but KastKing has earned my respect. For reels I also have two Centurian 3000’s, one 4000, and one 5000. All are flawless. I will be purchasing more KastKing poles to replace my old ones for sure. I also use their tackle storage bins and they are just fine. I think I need a KastKing hat now! Lol. Great company, great products, and I suggest you give them a shot with high confidence.

Really nice!!
The reel seat on this rod is super comfortable and it looks amazing, I have mine paired with a Kodiak 3000.Many split handle spinning rods have that kind of stupid skeleton sytle seat which turns out to be super uncomfortable because you end up holding the rod right on the skeleton area and it's just not comfortable. This one is super comfortable and the front reel locking mechanism is also top notch.Kastking if you read this please add some more sizes for the spinning in particular 6' and 6'6" and maybe model with gold accents to better match the Kodiak.I have the one piece 6'9” as well paired with a Revo SX 30, perfect match.

A Fantastic Rod at a Great Price!
Incredible rod! I've been waiting for these rods to come out since iCast this year. I recently purchased the KastKing Perigee II rod and I loved it. KastKing has done it again with the Royale Legend rod. This rod is lightweight and comfortable while having the backbone necessary to get those fish out of the cover. This is a must have for any angler's arsenal.

KastKing Hits It Out Of The Ball Park Again
This is probably the finest MH 2-piece bass rod made today! It's got 9 small eyes in 6' 6" instead of the usual 6 eyes in 7' 6". It took me a little while before I learned its own personality and was able to cast long distances, but after a couple of hours of practice, I learned this rod is so accurate I can hit any target easily out to 50-75 yards. It's got a very strong base, feels really strong and comfortable in my hand with one of my Lew's Tournament reels. It's stiff up to about 3/4 of its length, then a fast tip so I can detect the slightest bump or nudge by a bass. I was able to land 6 respectable size bass within about two hours of fishing. 2 were 6+ pounds that I had to pull through medium heavy cover. I am so pleased with this rod, it leaves two of my $100 rods in the dust. It's one of those treasures you sometimes find in the fishing gear market. You've got to buy this rod, it's a must have!

Light, stiff, yet very sensitive
When first handling this rod I had a hard time believing I'd feel much with it. The material is just very stiff to the touch.I was mistaken. I paired this rod up with the new KastKing Royal Legend elite, some KastPro and threw on a little wacky rigged plastic. The first bite I got I felt bump through the entire rod.I was so surprised I almost forgot to set the hook. I really like this rod combo.I chose the 7'3" MH 10-20 1/4-1 and I've fished anything from trick worms, to wacky rigged senkos, to texas rigged worms, to even frogs. I'm looking to get a 2nd rod for lighter fishing and I think I'll go with a Royal Legend again, this time in M.

Don't wait to buy one!
All I can say is wow. I've owned a lot of rods over the past few years. Some I've sold because they were uncomfortable, others too heavy, and some just plain broke. This rod exceeded all my expectations. The first thing I noticed was the weight. Very light and balanced yet comfortable in the hand. It's rocking the famous Fuji guides. The guides are not too big and bulky. The blank is exposed under the reel seat. This is a must for me, I cannot stand when the blank is covered in plastic. It's got a sturdy nut that holds the reel'in place. I picked up the 7'3" MH - fast but the action is a bit more toward the moderate fast side. Perfect for chatterbait, spinnerbaits, etc. because the soft tip makes it harder for the fish to throw the bait. If you are looking for a jig/Texas rig rod, I would go up to the heavy power and the extra heavy for froggin/punching.

Very Impressed
First off I was very spectical about buying this rod. I have heard a lot of not so great things about KastKing. I’ve heard that they pay for good reviews. But trust me they did not pay me to write this review.I was very impressed. Rod came packaged in a tube with foam to protect it from bouncing around inside. I’ve ordered rods from different sellers that just put the rod in a long box and when I got it the box would be damaged to all hell. So they get an A on that. The rod it’s self is super light. Handles are comfortable and made from EVA. Nice aluminum reel seat nut. Fugi guides. Rubber bottom on the rod butt.Tested it out today caught 6 bass on them and 2 were 2 pounders, I fish from a kayak so I kinda had to horse the fish in to me and this rod held up great. I will be buying more rods from KastKing
