Battery port
I bought it for myself and tested with all situation. High quality pictures and videos. The only negative point is about charging port that you should takeoff the extra battery and then put it back and charge it!!!!

Terrible Audio but Good Video
WHAT’S INCLUDED:SJ20 CameraFrame Mount 1Frame Mount 2External BatteryWaterproof CaseBase MountCurved Mount/Flat MountThumb ScrewUSB CableCleaning ClothInstructionsPRODUCT/THOUGHTS:VIDEO:There is no 4K ultra on this like you get with the SJ10Pro. It’s just 4K at 30FPS. No 4K at 60, at 50..etcThat being said, it’s still nice quality. You also get WDR that you can turn on. It works great, especially in lower light conditions. The big feature of this model though is the daul lens. It has a low light lens that you can use for those conditions as well and it works quite well. Like any other video in lower light, you’ll get more noise in the video but it’s not as noticeable if someone is watching a video on their mobile device. The gryo stabilization works very good and you’ll get a smooth experience. You get a dual LCD display on this so you can flip over the front as necessary. Works great for things like “Selfi” mode. Etc.This model also has a “Car Mode”. Which essentially makes it a dash cam once you have external power connected to it, it’ll auto record and stop when power is off and saves recordings. You also get a Pre recording feature, so it’ll capture a few seconds before you push the record button.AUDIO:The Audio is bad. Really bad. I did some cursory searches and this is a problem reported by many others, not just me. The sound is quite muffled and muted. It’s almost unusable. I double-checked to make sure I wasn’t covering the mic. I tested with both modes, Noise Reduction OFF and On. With the noise reduction Off, all it did was make alot of ambient sounds really stand out, like fan and wind noise, etc. I would only have the noise reduction ON but if you get this, expect that you will get some quality video but terrible audio. It’s a shame they don’t have the ability to just connect a BT Mic as far as I can see to bypass that issue. But then again i’m not sure if this is something with the way it handles the audio processing or just the mic hardware itself.Other Thoughts:SJCam really needs to add firmware updates to their available section to download, and not just things like user manuals etc. And these updates need to be regular enough to compete with other brands, esp when they have issues such as audio buffering like this model has.I also have the SJ10 pro and the sound is superior to this. Its still not awesome but it is definitely better than this. The audio is the MAJOR downside to this thing. Infact, I can’t recommend this camera because of it, unless you want to use it for video only and don’t want to rely on sound. There are a good number of features in this thing, and it’s really a shame that it had to be held back by poor audio. The low light functions great, the stabilization, the quick changing modes with the dedicated mode button is something I wish my model had, the extra external battery pack is awesome. It IS kind of awkward to charge it, though, because you need to open up the side door to access the USB C Port, and you have to take off the external battery pack to open the door. So in order to charge the external battery, you gotta reconnect with the door open. It's just a bit cumbersome.

Wow
The media could not be loaded. This action camera has solved my major gripes about action cameras. Those gripes were about the low light capabilities when compared to brands such as DJI and GoPro, and the deplorable battery life found in action cameras. This action camera has not one but two lenses. One of those is made especially for low light conditions and I tested it tonight and it actually looks pretty good. The other camera looks great in ideal lighting. The stabilization that you see in the video is great. The video is stable when walking and jogging and even has some roll compensation before it starts to follow the motion. The battery life on this thing is great. I originally thought that the battery pack supplied all the power but there is a built in battery that can run the camera for reasonable lengths of time. The extended battery gives you run times that DJI and GoPro wish they could offer. It offers all this while still occupying a similar footprint to the more expensive brands. This is an amazing action camera that in the short time that I have had it, has inspired me to want to use an action camera more.

Promising features and lacking some...
The media could not be loaded. This is my initial impression of the camera so updates and change in rating my happen anytime.- Great packaging and nicely sealed- Good accesories but I wish there were more like the clip on for quick and stable mounting. The underwater case is so sealed with two buttons that you have to set the camera settings and forget it as there is no way you can change it without removing the camera again- Extra battery is great but it is annoying that you need to remove it before you can access the USB port and SD card slot!- Picture quality seems good, like the zoom feature and low-light is great. Well actually cropping the wide shot seems better (more natural) than zooming in? (see firepit shots)- Stabilization does not seem to have improved from last gen or should I say a step back? I did run and walk outside and the video is wobbly and jumpy. Holding it with a selfie stick might help a little more with stabilization. The older C300 model is superior in stabilization. This is unacceptable for a 200 bucks camera =(Stay tuned for more updates...

Got one of these secondhand and glad I didn't pay full price. This again claims to be what I need, and fails in the SINGLE place I need. It states it has night vision. It absolutely does NOT.I'm just looking for a nice 4k action camera with full proper infrared night vision built into the device. Why does no one make this?
