Great belt that hits the sweet spot between minimalism and a full on waist pack
I've been on the lookout for a good running belt/water bottle combo for a while and this one seems to fit the bill nicely. I'd previously been running with a Spi belt for my phone/keys and a handheld Amphipod water bottle for long runs. I like both well enough but was starting to get tired of the handheld for long runs and wanted to switch it up. After browsing some reviews, I narrowed the choices down to the Nathan Peak Hydration, the Ultimate Direction Access 600 and this belt. I chose this option since it seemed sleeker and less obtrusive than the other two options and I prefer to run with a belt under my shirt if possible. So far I've taken this belt out for two runs. A short run in which I didn't use the accompanying water bottle, and just stored my phone in the belt itself and a longer (14 mile) run with the bottle and my phone. I will update this review after I've had a chance to really put the belt through the ringer and see how it's durability holds up but here are my initial impressions.Running with just the belt (no water bottle) was everything I'd hoped it would be. The adjustable velcro waist straps feel quite sturdy and are easy to adjust. The "cargo" area consists of an inner zippered pocket large enough to hold my iPhone 7+ with a case (it did take a little practice to get it in but once in it wasn't going to move around) and an outer pocket of a stretchy synthetic material that is open at the top which you can button to close. I didn't experience any jostling or rubbing once I'd tightened the belt and my phone felt really secure. It might help that my phone is larger and thus took up most of the space of the inner pocket. There are adjustable bungee cords on either side of the main cargo area that you can cinch down to narrow the belt, but I didn't feel the need to use them as everything felt nice and secure. One side of the velcro belt strap has an additional small pocket that would likely accommodate one or two keys or maybe a Gu but I haven't tried putting anything it there yet.The longer run was on a really humid morning and I'm a pretty heavy sweater so by the time I was done the belt was completely drenched. Despite that, I experienced little to no irritation on my lower back (I did apply a healthy dose of body glide on the area before heading out) which was a pleasant surprise. There were definite differences when running with the full water bottle. I had to tighten the velcro waist straps considerably more to accommodate the weight of the bottle, even so there was a bit more bouncing which is probably to be expected. The bottle itself is a 500mL plastic bladder similar to a CamelBack or Platypus that has a reinforced upper portion near the mouth that gives it some shape. The lid is a standard screw top with a "bite down" spigot mouthpiece. The mouthpiece was a little tricky to figure out at first, as just biting down and applying suction doesn't actually let any water out. Instead you have to disengage a sort of locking mechanism by bitting on the mouthpiece and pulling away from the bottle with your teeth. It sounds worse than it is and after I figured out the trick I realized it was probably an important competent to prevent the bottle from leaking. The fact that the bottle is made of soft plastic means it's size decreases as you drink more and I definitely noticed less bouncing as the bottle became lighter/smaller. Accessing the bottle while running is a little hard as you have to fumble with the button on the outer pocket but it's entirely doable if you slow down and will probably become easier with practice. The bottle itself is kind of tough to hold with sweaty hands but gets the job done. Placing it back in the belt while running is straightforward but getting that button closed again was harder. Because of this I would recommend waiting until a stopping point like a red light or when you need a break to take out/place back the bottle. All in all I think this is a great belt. I would give it 4.5 start if that was possible because while not entirely perfect (they could make more use of the space by adding another velcro compartment on the other side of the waist strap, perhaps have a key ring in the zippered compartment and/or daisy chains for holding Gu's around the outside but that's just quibbling at this point) it definitely met and exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this belt to anyone looking for a more streamlined water bottle/belt combo who doesn't mind slowing down or stopping to take a drink.

Excellet, the perfect size for up-to Marathon distance.
This belt is the perfect size for anything up to a marathon/4 gels and a bottle. I can fit 4 GU gels, a smaller phone, and a full UD Body bottle 500. It's pretty comfortable. I've not had much issue with chafing except for one very humid long run, but I wear it with the pouch on the rear and turn it to the front when I'm fishing out contents. Most people probably won't be bothered by it.

Waist size inaccurate
I'm sure this is a decent product just be aware of the waist sizes. I'm a size 32" waist so bought S/M as that goes up to 33" so I thought my wife could also use it. Doesn't come close to getting around my waist. Anyone who is 32" and up go up to Large.
