Decent Large Screened Laptop with Good Amount of RAM
Firstly love the colour, I always choose interesting colours as never been keen on the boring silver or black. Obviously the machine itself must important but am drawn to the little bit different.Anyway on to the important stuff, this is a budget laptop yet has a lovely, larger than normal screen. Clear and bright and easy to read. Now the CPU itself nothing overly exciting, standard affair for these budget laptops but more than capable of running every day tasks, some light gaming and watching streaming sites online. Don't expect to be playing the latest AAA titles on it however but have tried some emulation on it and it's done quite well and this partly due to a rather impressive 12GB of RAM which compared to most budget machines is at least 50% higher (and some even have 4GB which really isn't enough as this consumed by the OS).Now to the niggles I have with it, the keyboard okay to use with decent size keys due to the laptop size, however like most of the budget machines it features a US layout keyboard, they provide a UK overlay and to be honest I'm so used to the few differences between US/UK and touch type it doesn't really bother me but some it might. Also I wish they'd use a standard USB C for the charging port, pretty standard the days and means of you were to mislay the charger a replacement would be easily found.Apart from that it's a very good machine at the price point, decent storage, very good large screen, reasonably light, lovely light blue colour, lots of RAM, sound okay but not anything special and an acceptable CPU.

Don’t bother
Bought this as a uni laptop. Fine for a bit, the charger only works at a certain angle. After 7-8 months of not as prolonged use it’s dead. Not happy at all.

Well suited to Uni students on the go
As a computer science student who frequently commutes by coach to university (a journey in excess of 8 hours!), the AOCWEI Laptop has been excellent. The processor is snappy and efficient, whether I’m coding for individual/group projects or streaming movies on the coach to and from uni, the laptop survives pretty well. The storage included is pretty decent for the price offering 512GBs of storage of pretty fast SATA storage with speeds topping out at around the theoretical maximum of the interface at around 540MB/s read and write, which is a shame they couldn't include an NVME drive. However, given the price, the drawback is acceptable as the performance difference isn't particularly noticeable in real-world situations outside of booting up the laptop. Despite this, the laptop is still very quick booting up, booting almost as fast, sometimes even faster than my 2022 Dell Lattitude that was over £1500 retail. Furthermore, it is generally just very quick and responsive particularly when opening programs and coding projects which is part in thanks to the decent SSD and the snappy processor. The display is pretty decent and is ideal for working on complex programming tasks while travelling with the tall 16:10 display which just gives that extra screen real estate, suited both for coding and general reading. The battery life has been pretty decent, significantly better than my relatively new laptop, as it has endured the majority of my journey to and from uni, depending on what I am doing, as it typically lasts 5 or 6 hours on a single charge. Furthermore, the sizable trackpad is good for navigation and is pretty accurate and is once again comparable to the trackpad on my Dell Latitude but even larger so it definitely does well here.In conclusion, the Laptop is surprisingly snappy and power efficient given the price and my prior unfamiliarity with the brand and type of CPU. However, like most Chinese brands on Amazon, they’re vying with the more premium brands at a significantly reduced price. The laptop has been great for me, arriving quickly and being set up in under half an hour it has been an excellent replacement for my old laptop. It has performed well for me both in the library, in lectures and whilst travelling catering to both my academic and leisure needs, making it a good buy for any computer science student on a budget.

Excellent laptop at a great price.
I am extremely impressed by the quality of the laptop build and components and the high technical specifications for an amazing price. The graphics quality is super high and the audio is great too. The communication types and ports make it easy to connect devices with or without wires. The blue colour is very cool looking and the 16inch screen gives a stunningly beautiful picture with unbelievable high resolution. Extra very cool thing about this laptop is that it is coated in plastic which will protect the laptop for years possibly decades. If you spill anything on this machine it’ll just wipe off. And if not you can just remove the protective plastic covering which will make you’re laptop look like new again.

Great laptop with lots of high quality specs.
The media could not be loaded. This laptop is absolutely amazing. It is sleek, fast, and boasts many specs you would expect to find in flagship brands. The keyboard is very responsive and feels good to type on. The graphics and sound are superb. I spent two days using it for about 16 hours, and the battery life is very good. Initially, I was unsure about the colour until I opened the box and saw the laptop in reality. It looks superb. I recommend this laptop, especially for the price.

Poor Battery Life
The battery drains very fast, when fully charged, takes only 3 hours to run out of battery. It also takes very long time to fully charged, takes over 5hours to fully charge yet takes less than 5 hours to run out battery.I will return this product.
