This item leaked everywhere. It got too hot to hold the handle. It then stopped working. Sad I missed the return window by one day because I took it with me for travel.

I got this after a friend recommended a steamer as a substitute for an iron. I do not like all the setup involved in ironing, so I figured I'd give this a try. Sometimes I do need to smooth out wrinkles in clothes.I was intimidated and left this in the box for months. Finally, I was unpacking some clothes from a vacation and looking at the fold lines and feeling frustrated that I'd likely have to wash them again even though I'd washed them while I was there. I decided to give this a try to see if I could get those folds out of the clothes.I filled the water reservoir and plugged it in. The default setting is the dry setting. I haven't tried that. I pressed the button once to turn it to the light steam setting and then I just lightly ran this over the problem areas. They disappeared in seconds! It was like magic! I didn't have to hold anything tight or have a solid surface behind it. I just had a shirt on a hanger and waved this around, just barely touching the shirt and all the wrinkles went away.I love this thing - it is so much smaller and easier to use than an iron. It comes with a little pad to set it on. The handle can rotate so that the whole thing takes up less space. It heated up in seconds and was so easy to use! Really takes all the frustration out of getting wrinkles out of clothes!
