Well, I didn't expect too much from this device to be honest, considering the price. That said, it is not too bad for what it is, it really depends how you're going to be using it.Using it without an external microphone, I was surprised at the quality of the recordings. Don't get me wrong, I have heard much better quality recordings, but again, for the price, the inbuilt microphone is surprisingly sensitive, allowing voice recordings to be clearly heard (although with a bit more white noise than I would personally like). However I found that it was also very sensitive to picking up unwanted noise, in particular if you move the device whilst using it picks up a lot of the noise of the movement. As such I would recommend, for best results, placing the recorder on a hard flat surface whilst recording.After testing the clip on mic that comes with the device, I found this to be a lot less sensitive than the inbuilt mic, and even when attached to my collar, the recordings still was not nearly as loud or clear as when using the internal mic. I have not yet tested another clip on mic, but I believe the issue is due to the clip on mic that comes with the product being of very poor quality. It is also clearly an unpowered mic, which does not help.In regards to ease of use, although it did not come with any clear instructions, I spent 10 minutes playing around with it and managed to figure out how to use most of the functions of the recorder.For anyone having problems with it picking up both the external and inbuilt mic, first plug in the external mic, then go to settings and record from, use the forward/rewind buttons (on the right hand side) to select external mic, then press M. Now when you record it should pick up the external mic not the inbuilt mic.All told, for anyone wanting this for casual use (memos, reminders, etc.) then I would say this is a cheap option that works. If you need good quality recordings however (for music, film, etc.) I would have to recommend just paying extra for a good quality recorder from a trusted brand.

Good product. Bought for my father but too small for him to use, gave to my brother who said it works a treat. He uses it to dictate quotations for his work. Right size, not too bulky.

I got this to record my singing. It was easy to use. Simple instructions. Battery recharged easily. It attached to computer with a USB & I downloaded my recordings easily. The quality was fine. If I can do it... Anyone can!!

the item was unfortunately like a child's toy with cheap chrome painted plastic parts and mine does not record for the first 3 seconds when pressing record button the counter does not start to count until 3 seconds later which is more than useless for Auto Voice Record ...Nothing wrong with CozyGo was delivered quickly and all the parts where there just a shame about the product itself

A bit cheap and chatty to look at and use, but great for the money... Speech quality is good and the tie-clip mic works well.

Will NOT be dealing with this supplier again - this inexpensive item FAILED within 1 year of purchase, on very light use ( - it happens !). However, the supplier has been SINGULARLY UNRESPONSIVE to repeated and civil attempts to redress the issue of the DVR failing to charge, even not responding to a prompt by Amazon customer services department. This otherwise well-boxed product is now of NO use, and it would seem the recordings in its memory are no longer accessible ( - without much technical expertise, at least !).

I am returning this. I found the device to be flimsy and to hear voice recordings it needed to be set to the highest volume which still wasn't that loud.

Took a while to work out how to charge up the Dictaphone, but works brilliantly after I worked that minor details out. This is why a second unit was ordered, as a friend of mine seen it and wanted one.

Buena compra, lo recomiendo para quien busque algo económico y básico. Es pequeño, muy fácil de manejar y suena bastante bien.
