Best dye I've used
This is the best bright hair colour I've used. Gives the brightest results and the closest to the colour you're expecting.Fades over a couple of weeks but the faded colours usually look good. I use Plume and Magenta for a purple & bright pink effect. You need to bleach your hair first, dark hair will never go brightly coloured, obviously. It says use on damp hair but this just dilutes the colour. Make sure your hair is dry (clan or dirty, makes no difference) and Vaseline your ears & hairline. Always wear gloves or you'll be scrubbing it out of your nails for days.My hair is short so I get 2-3 applications from each bottle. If you have long hair, buy 2 just in case. As it's not the kind of dye you mix with developer, you can store it for ages.Works really well and doesn't damage your hair at all.

It did condition my hair
Fancied a change of hair colour and saw the Heather and thought yea why not. Read the reviews and was a bit worried but, read reviews about hair dyes and they are usually a mixed bag. Before I used this I lightened my hair using this company recommended product.Followed the instructions for this dye - wash and towel dry hair to begin with. Erm ok, odd but this is what they tell you. I've been colouring my hair for years, never seen this advice, but hey ho.The bottle didn't seem that full, but I carried on.What a pain in the rear. No ease of product coming out of the bottle. Had to keep shaking it hard to get any of the product out of the bottle.Normally when I colour my hair there is usually that much solution on my hair that enables my hair to stick to my scalp, not this time. It seemed dry even though I had applied the colour everywhere.Supposed to leave on for 15 - 30 minutes. I inadvertently left it on for 45 minutes. Before I washed it off, I looked in the mirror and expected to see some change. Nothing.Rinsed out the colour and this was very quick, there didn't appear to be any colour washing out.Let my hair dry and I am left with lightened hair with a couple of pink streaks/patches.On the plus side. My hair feels nice and soft. But could have had the same result in less time with any conditioning mask.Would I buy this again? No. I have the same colour effect if I had used chalks but without the dryness of chalk.

I like the bits that actually dyed.
Dye didn't take to some parts of my hair, no idea why. I'm guessing the parts it did dye were just lighter than the rest? The dyed parts of my hair look lovely! (I got purple and baby pink). I would advise that you bleach your hair even if you have medium to light blonde hair already.

Great colour that lasts a reasonable amount of time
I used this on my already heavily bleached hair. I didn’t find it damaging at all and it achieved a pretty good pink result that lasted a fair number of washes before fading. It was easy to apply and didn’t smell as bad as a lot of other hair products do. Later on I decided to try a milder colour so diluted the dye with conditioner which worked well and produced a nice light tone. Again this lasted a fair while before fading. Be careful about getting a pink scalp or hairline (Vaseline works great here). All in all this product was great. It fulfilled its purpose easily and effectively and was good value for money. If I still wanted pink hair or were to again in the future I’d make a repeat purchase. This may, however, be far less effective (if at all) on those with hair any darker than bleach blond and if it’s brown you can probably forget it.That aside, 5/5 would recommend

Weird stuff. An experience!
Um, I'd prob have to say avoid if you have any common sense. I don't, obviously. It dyed everything a weird blue and I had to bleach my bathtub. Its ridiculously messy, unfortunately. Thought it'd be a nice alternative to nasty strong dye every other month but it's just hard work. Gets in places you never knew you had, even when you do tiny sections at a time and clean up/wipe as you go. I do like how pigmented it is as you put it on, it goes far, and it smells good too, not strong...but, the weird blue all around my hairline, and my gloves, and my bath and shower head.. It is very dark black (like tar) when applied but my scalp looks ridiculous like fading from permanent sharpie. I may buy it again if I really can't find an alternative, who knows...other colours may be easier to cope with. Theres no doubt those would be bright! Also, it had no "plug" when I got it, which is weird and suggests it was opened already? I dunno. I remember this brand as a teenager, but, I was a bit loopy back then. Maybe I had a bad one, for a fiver... Good job my towel was already blue, to match my ears. (I bought the jet black) Theres prob better out there, I'm just a little dissapointed. Boo hoo. Good effort, Stargazer, but, hmmm. We'll see if I try it again. You can mix it with other colours, and create your own shade I guess, so, give it a go if you're brave. No retreat, no surrender!

For the woman who wants her skin colour to match her hair.
Colour looked like it was going to be perfect for me. Unfortunately, this has ended up being one of the messiest semi perminant hair dyes that I’ve ever used. It’s taken over twenty minutes to wash out the excess dye. Hair dye has gone everywhere and stained my skin. Very disappointed with this product’s quality. I suspect that even now I still have a large amount of excess dye in my hair despite using several doses of shampoo. Won’t be buying this product again.

Very disappointed. :-(
Shame. This product is really hit and miss. I used it on pre-bleached hair. The tropical green shows up really bright and vibrant but the soft blue hardly shows up at all. I only wanted it for part-head highlights on very short hair and needed a whole pot of the blue whereas I had loads of the green left. Meh.Update: And even the green has faded after one wash. Not impressed. Wouldn't bother if I were you... :-(

It is vibrant green
It was vibrant to start however it fades quickly, when it fades it is ugly, so dye it asap. Tbh I don't know why I wanted green hair, I did it for a YouTube video (subscribe to BBHAXS Media) and it worked, also you need to bleach your hair for this to work
