Good tool
This tool is excellent for putting fine finishes on knife blades, dressing bolts and triggers in firearms, and other general light fine finishing tasks involving metal. Mine arrived in a plastic tube that prevents it from getting lost or broken. The edges were flat and even to the eye (I don't have a flat stone to validate flatness to the thousandth). Excellent value.

Almost perfect
First of all, please note this stone is different from the Spyderco Sharpmaker stones, which have groves in the center and more rounded corners. You can compare the part number to their website to see the specs on this.I bought this for gunsmithing. I needed a little triangle shape to be able to polish the inside of hammer hooks and sear notches. It puts a very fine finish on things, and it does a great job for my purposes. One thing to be aware of is my stone came imperfect. If I look at a cross-section of it, one side is slightly convex in the very center. I discovered this by testing this on a scrap piece of steel, watching the wear. This isn't a big deal for me since the other two sides are perfect (and since I'll mainly be using the area around the corners) but it might be an issue for other people to look out for.All in all, I'm very happy with this little ceramic stone, and I might buy the set of other shaped stones in the future. As always with hard stones, be careful to not drop this because it may break.

Size matters/ it’s tiny
This is tiny, I don’t know what to do? It’s basically to small to sharpen a knife, very small and thin

Good ceramic file - bad detail product description
If I were replacing the triangular rod in my Spyderco ceramic stone set, this would rate 5 stars - for what it is it's good. However, the detailed product description is wrong! It says "Product Dimensions: 5.5 x 0.8 x 0.8 inches" and that is just not the case. I needed a triangular ceramic file that is at least .5 inches in the short dimensions and so the advertised .8 inches would do just fine - but they goofed big time. It is really:It is 5 X .25 X .25 inches. In their defense, the initial product header says, "Spyderco Triangle White Ceramic File (1/4)" - but I naturally believed the detail description - sigh.

It is a quality stone but extremely small
This is a fine stone most suitable to fine honing, but it is quite small relative to it's price.
