Kampa Sizzle Tabletop BBQ
Delivery from Amazon VG.Product neatly packed in its own blown plastic case.Construction is high quality, easy to dismantle and reassemble.Totally portable and uses cheap and widely available disposable cartridges -no need for heavy gas cylinders and regulators. In use - Pro'sSimple, just remove from case, insert disposable gas cartridge and fire up.The stove heats up rapidly and the burners are easy to regulate.Cooking results obtained are on a par with any gas BBQ I have owned before.Cleaning is a doddle due to the ease of assembly and size of individual components.Cooking area is nominally 12 inches by 9 inches - 30 by 23 cm (approx) this will givean idea as to whether its large enough for your needs.ConsI would have liked a wind shield to prevent draughts cooling the upper side of the cooking food,I made one for a similar previously owned model so its not too big a deal.(The burners are already shielded as they are recessed)Otherwise, the BBQ would have received 5 Stars, even so I am very satisfied.PrecautionIn cold weather it is necessary to ensure that the butane cartridges are not chilled as the flow ofbutane gas reduces as the temperature decreases.

Sizzle me timbers
I haven't used this outdoors, in high winds, flying through the upper atmosphere or even while kayaking along treacherous rapids. I have however, put it through its paces and been very pleased with the results. My old barbeque was a steel monstrosity that only needed to be caressed by the lightest touch of charcoal and flame to begin belching noxious fumes, somehow without enough actual heat to render a perfectly standard burger patty anything more than warm and slimy. This barbeque however is truly wonderful, the loading mechanism for the gas canisters couldn't be easier to operate, the heat is easily adjustable and even and practically the whole cooking area comes apart for easy cleaning. So far I've cooked a few burgers and a couple of steaks on there, the results were truly superb, the 'flame grilled' taste really hits you like a big meaty treat.I've used it on a kitchen worktop with no bad results, the heat transference is pretty much straight up from the cooking surface but it does remain rather hot after turning off. It is pretty much idiot proof just so long as you remember 'fire = hot' you should get along fine.Overall a firm five out of five stars, why I ever bothered lugging around a rusty, smelly, food poisoning propagation system like my old clapped out barbeque is quite beyond me.Buy this, your mouth will love you for it.

... our recent motorhome adventure in Holland and are very happy with it
We bought this for our recent motorhome adventure in Holland and are very happy with it. It's compact and relatively lightweight, storing neatly in its plastic case at the back of the wardrobe. The P220 butane gas canisters (available separately) are cheap and easy to install. It lights easily and provides instant heat. The cooking surface is large enough to accommodate four burgers and about the same number of sausages. A drip tray slides out underneath and needs 300ml of water added when cooking. This apparently results in vaporisation of some of the fat which gives the food a more authentic BBQ flavour. It seems to work! The grill and drip tray are easily removed for cleaning and the whole thing is cool enough to put back in its box for storage soon after the heat is turned off. Perhaps not the last word in BBQs but for our purposes it is pretty much perfect!

Highly recommend
Very impressed with this BBQ we have used it on three outing to our local beach, I was a little unsure that I would get the traditional BBQ smoke flavour but you can't tell the difference, we use the cooker on a picnic table and have found no damage to the table top just remember to add water to the lower tray this keeps the heat and mess to a minimum and makes cleaning easier as the fat floats on the water. The fuel has lasted very well and we are still on the original fuel cell the heat control tends to work rather slowly as the flame heats a plate above this sits just bellow the mesh and returns the fat/meat juices to vapour back to the meat. Cleaning the unit is also very easy as its made of stainless steel and comes apart with ease either stacking or sliding together. I would highly recommend this product, this review has been spontaneous and not paid for by the agent selling this product and I hope you find this helpful.

Very good
Great BBQ, love it - cooks food perfectly - the Outback BBQ cover will stay on whilst its only small BBQ's convenient and cooks food really wellCouple of niggles though - case was broken upon arrival and piece of metal jutting out inside stops the lock / unlock lever - my choice not to send back but maybe seller needs to look at the protection they give these when they ship them as I'm sure the damage occurred in transit.Have just brought another one - here is hoping no damage on this one!!

It is light and easy to store in its case.
I like the ease of using and storing. In windy conditions it is difficult to keep the heat in as there is no lid so in windy conditions I use a bit of tin foil to cover and help to keep the heat up. Gas cartridge is easy to load and works well. Overall good value for money.

Broken on Delivery
Bought this item for a birthday present and I was very disappointed as the carry case had four cracks and an actual leg for the BBQ was broken , we had to put a piece of wood underneath so that we could use it . Poor value for money .

It just the job wonderfully. Any warm sunny evening can easily set it ...
I bought this for barbecues in my small back garden rather than have to use disposable charcoal ones. It just the job wonderfully. Any warm sunny evening can easily set it up and away cooking in minutes. I can see the reviews which say it isn't good in a wind will be correct as have to protect from wind at times even in my sheltered garden.
