I ordered this when I was having a bad pancreatitis flair up with lots of pain. It's the only thing that helped take the pain away for a while. Started back on it again this past week for the pancreatic pain. I'm so grateful that I could order this on Amazon.

Excellent. Natural alternative to Tums

These seem to have a comparable effect to chewable DGL I was taking and couldn't stand the overly sweet taste of. I needed capsules because while I enjoy licorice, I can't stand the taste of artificial sweeteners. I take these about three times a day between meals with as little water as possible, as was recommended to me by a doctor.I want to note that some people have complained that these don't taste like the chewable tablets when they swallow the powders outside of the capsule. That is completely irrelevant and to be expected, as this is DGL, which stands for Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice, that is, licorice with (most) glycyrrhizin removed, and glycyrrhizin is the chemical in licorice that tastes sweet. To get DGL chews to taste like licorice, most brands add a sweetener and some anise, which tastes like licorice, but the flavor is not at all an indication of effectiveness. There is no sweetener OR anise listed in the ingredients, so you better hope you don't taste sweetness, as it would indicate glycyrrhizin.

Works well. I have been trying these (1 or 2) just before eating a spicy meal or one with tomato sauce, which can bother my stomach, and they seem to help prevent indigestion.

I’ve known the taste of DGL for around 40 years. My father had an ulcer and used DGL for a long time. A regionally well-known DGL was purchased for years by a cola company from our area to use in their formula, since the main ingredient is licorice root. I bought this product to reduce or eliminate my esophageal sensitivity. Swallowing the capsule whole wouldn’t have helped me much, so I opened it up and took the powdered form inside, and I experienced exactly the original licorice taste. This gave me confidence in the brand. I chose this method after realizing that the chewable tablets have a very low concentration.

This was recommended to me by someone to take with l-glutamine. I've been using the two products together and have seen major results. This is a company I trust for clean products like this.

Not happy. I buy a lot from this brand. This is trash. It’s basically wood pulp (cellulose, and micro crystalline cellulose).I have used vitacost in the past, which is pure DGL. I let the capsules dissolve in my mouth. This is a garbage supplement.I’m seriously reconsidering buying anything from them if they are going to cut corners and use huge amounts of fillers. I can’t trust that.

Nutricost DGL is a good buy, If you have digestive issues Nutricost DGL is a good choice for yuor upset stomach. DGL is a lot better than taking a ton of Those Calicum chews that do really nothing. Eating a lot of them could give you a Kidney Stone,. DGL does a better job last longer and is better for you.
