Honestly - Great Product and Great Value!!!
I typically don’t write product reviews, but after receiving these recently purchased sunglasses a few days ago, I decided to spend a few minutes writing a review and share my thoughts.I’ve lived in Florida all my life and my eyes have always been very sensitive to the bright sunshine here. Like a lot of folks, I do love spending time on the water and well know the importance of having a good pair of polarized sunglasses. I consider a good pair of sunglasses to be one that is polarized and has the right amount of tint so as not to impede the clearness or be overly dark or not enough tint to block the glare, and lastly, has readers/bifocals.These Renegades on review are priced at $26.00. They look good, are tinted just dark enough that you don’t have to keep raising them up to take a second look at something a distance away, has a very comfortable nose piece and a lens that comes far enough around your face to block any glare or sun coming in from the side. Lastly, the reader/bifocals are situated in such a way that I never notice any transition from one part of the lens to another. As a comparison and for my own benefit, I took out a pair of my Costas and Maui Jim’s this afternoon and when comparing them to the Renegades, I found that I actually liked the Renegades as much or better than the other two high end sunglasses. The deciding factor was that the high-end sunglasses were a bit to dark and did not have the readers/bifocals which, for me, made a big difference. But the clarity of the Renegade lens can’t be overstated… It’s very clear and clean and the bifocals fit perfectly in the lens. If I had to buy again when comparing to Costas and/or Maui Jims? No brainer... For the money it's Renegade. For $25.99? You can’t go wrong. Give it a try - I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.I hope this helps…

Inexpensive, UV-A/UV-B protection, polarized, built-in readers--complete package!
Love these sunglasses! Add a set of Croakies and you're all set. UV-A and UV-B protection, polarized (improves vision on water or for driving your car), and have built-in readers (varying strengths available) which enables me to read my dashboard or cell phone (when not driving) without requiring a different set of glasses. All of this in an inexpensive set of sunglasses that don't look ugly. Couldn't ask for more!

Fishing Sunglasses
As advertised. Excellent clarity for polarized sunglasses with reading frame. Reading frame is a bit small but works fine for close up work.

Nice but reading area too small
These are nicely made and work well, except that I found the magnified reading area too small to be useful for anything but a quick glance. Reading a document or a book was difficult for me. I ended up returning the glasses.

Well designed for fishing
I use these sunglasses primarily for fishing. They are different in one regard from other polaroids: the bifocal section is small. This is an advantage for fishing: most of the visual field is undistorted, and the small bifocal section is adequate for details such as threading line through the hook eye.I also use them for driving, so the bifocal section doesn't interfere with distance vision.

Readers are perfectly functional
The readers are perfectly functional and unlike mentioned in some other reviews are perfectly sized and positioned. The complaint that I have with these sunglasses is the main lens optics. The main lens optics just are not that great. There is some waviness and distortion. The optics are not as good as that found in high-end sunglasses like Oakley.

Bifocal is NOT distracting
I have tried several different bifocal sunglasses and the bifocal portion was always too visible during normal wear, especially driving. These are small and only noticeable when reading. I asked a friend to try them on -- letting on they were regular sunglasses -- and he was impressed how clear they were with the polarized lenses. I then asked him to look at his wrist watch and he too was stunned that they were bifocals and said if I told him that first, he would have never tried them on...then asked where to get a pair too.

Well made, clear, reading lens very low and small.
The glasses arrived on time and were nicely packaged. They fit me well and the vision is clear as they are polarized. I was disappointed that the reading portion at the bottom is very low down and small at the bottom of the lens, making it of very limited use.
