It's good to know you have something to fix a broken spoke with.
I haven't used it, thank God! but I know from others who have they rave it. It takes up very little space in your seat bag but it's good insurance in case of spoke malfunction. I do bicycle touring and losing a spoke could be troublesome, and a lot of modern road bikes may only have 14 spokes, and one breaks their walking, and since it takes up such little space there really is no reason not to carry one. It's easy to use but I would suggest that you watch a few YouTube videos to see how it's used, it's much easier to understand watching someone do it than to read the instructions and trying to figure it out, the instruction will make more sense after watch a couple vids. Some people might be thinking they'll just carry spare steel spokes, ok that's fine, but then you have to carry a tool to take off the cassette, with the FiberFix spoke you don't need any tools other than a spoke wrench which you should have one with you anyways, because you don't need to remove the cassette. When on a tour, or just riding a bike on a long ride you don't want to carry cassette removal tool, these things are not small and take up quite a bit of space, not to mention added weight. The fiber spoke is extremely light weight as well, it might even be less than a regular spoke.Like I said, I know the FiberFix spoke works because I personally know 2 people who had to use them, and it got them to a bike shop.

Clever Tool
This is an ingenious device that is light, compact, strong, effective, and easy to use even behind a freehub. Oh, and it's reusable! I do long-distance day rides where I live, and go on long-distance tours in remote regions, so I carry one of these in my basic tool kit and three more in my expanded "touring tool kit". In my opinion, they're better than keeping actual spokes somewhere in my bike that may have been cut to the wrong length and can't be installed behind a freehub without special tools. This product is great insurance against the possibility of having to walk many kilometers.

Emergency Spoke
Well, I haven't used this yet, I guess that is a blessing. I hope I remember how to use it, that is why a middle rating. I kept the instructions attached to the plastic container, but over time the paper deteriorated and is hard to read now. What a great idea, my daughter got this for me after I complained about a busted spoke. I haven't had one since.

Got me home
I recently bought a Giant Escape and also recently broke my first spoke ever in ten years of daily riding. After getting it replaced, I bought this emergency spoke. Two months later, I broke my second spoke ever on the same bike. This emergency spoke was in my bag, easy to install (even all sweaty on the side of the trail!), and got me all the way home (about 30 more miles) instead of having to stop my ride.My only gripe is the instructions are in a charming handwritten font; when I’m annoyed at my broken bike and trying to keep sweat out of my eyes and mosquitos off me, I kinda just want something easy to read, not something charming. But still, the instructions do make it so simple to install, I was glad to have them in the kit.
