Price at review: £16.99These are very cool little gadgets, solidly built, come fitted with batteries and they have four buttons. You can clone a 433 Mhz remote control using them. Up to four functions in all. They might not work with everything because of different radio protocols but they most likely will work with simple things like most garage door openers.The instructions are a touch hard to follow and miss some steps so let me give you the unofficial guide:The first thing you should do is clear the memory:Hold A+B at the same time until you see the light flash 3 times. While still holding A, release B and then while still holding A tap B 3 times. The light will then flash a lot. You can now release both buttons.You can tell the memory is cleared because pressing any of the buttons will not result in any light flashing.Now to program a button you hold the button you want to program, so for this example start holding down C, you will see two flashes of the light. While still holding your button, operate your existing source remote control right next to it. After a few seconds you should see the light constantly flashing rapidly. It has now learned the code and is transmitting it!You can now press the cloned button so C from our example and you should see it does the same as if you had pressed the button on your existing source remote control.You can repeat this process for the other buttons as needed. If you screw up then you need to erase the memory as in the first steps and try again.

bought this for driveway gate openers, checked the frequency is the same etc as per listing, tried all 4 keys but unfortunately non of them work, they did light up but wouldn't work with gate.

I got these as I was down to one fob left to control my garage door.Sadly these don’t work with it. I had no way of knowing the frequency of my garage door so it was a lucky dip. After setting the fob up with my garage car fob it sadly did not work.The set up is really straight forward (if you can read the tiny print on the instructions) and the little devices are well made and robust… but do make sure you find out the frequency of the device youre wanting to setup before purchasing.
