I am very happy with the Smraza case. Assembly was straightforward, and clearly illustrated in the instructions. Operating temp using the case is 17 C (30F) lower than it was with my previous case. The LED indicators are fully visible. The case was supplied with decent steel bolts and nuts for assembly, in fact there were 5 sent with the kit. Not sure if that 5th was intentional as a spare, but it's nice to have an extra.At first, I thought that the MicroUSB and HDMI connectors were not seating fully due to what appeared to be interference with the lower part of the plugs from the edge of clear Layer #3, but that turned out not to be correct. It was an illusion, which I realized after I partially disassembled the case to more closely examine it. Both cables are actually seating fully into the receptacles, and all is well.I would have given it 5 stars except for the power adapter that came with the case. When I used it, the monitor display cycled back and forth between totally black and normal display repeatedly. I don't know what that was about, but I hadn't seen that behavior using my original adapter before, or since I tried the one from Smzara.UPDATE: The support folks at Smraza graciously provided a replacement Power Adapter, which arrived quickly from Amazon. The cable on this one is hard-wired to the adapter (no USB at the adapter), and it works fine with the Raspberry Pi, with no monitor blanking issues. I bumped my review to 5 stars for their prompt resolution to the adapter problem.

This is the 2nd acrylic case of this style I've purchased and the case materials were of good quality as expected. The accessories (fan, power cord) are a nice addition and make it easy to put this together in one sitting. The instruction sheet put this into 5 start territory: it was clear, well laid out and very helpful even though this is not my first such case. The images of the layer shapes saves a bunch of time and effort (no puzzle solving).One note: this case was recommended by a couple of sites for the Tinker Board. The case is a perfect fit for a Pi 3+ but needed some cutting and other changes to accommodate the Tinker Board. Nothing major or time consuming, just not a drop-in like the Pi.

I intended to use this fan cooled case kit on a new RPI3 B+ project. But instead I installed it on a two year old RPI3 B (not a B+) that was experiencing high temperatures and random power brownouts.The case was a perfect fit and looks good. I configured the 2-speed fan for low speed (3.3V) operation. I'm happy to report that the fan reduced the RPI3's temperature by 15C degrees and the upgraded power supply eliminated the voltage brownouts.Installing this case kit was a pleasant experience. I'll have to reorder another one for my new RPI3 B+ project.Parting Words: This case kit is highly recommended. Low cost, looks good, works well.

I originally ordered the case for the 3, not the 3+ - They are different. The customer service was exceptional, without any questions they swapped it out for me. GREAT service. The case itself is also great. Fits perfectly, feels solid, and is kind of cool how it goes together. I love the convenience of the whole kit with the power supply etc. and I find the price very fair. I would buy from this company again.

The case is very well designed and i would recommend it to everyone that has a raspberry pi. The layers are a bit hard to keep in place and it takes a bit to get it together but the instructions are excellent and have pictures and diagrams.

I specifically ordered this case because the power cord had USB on one end and miniUSB on the other. That way I could use the power cord plugged into a wall adapter or a battery.

I have used this case before so I ordered more units to keep my setup uniform.

Great product. Solved issue I had with overheating and looks great also. Will be ordering another soon

Schade um den Aufwand, aber erfreut um die Bemühungen.Habe tatsächlich kostenlos ein neues komplettes Set erhalten. Sehr zufrieden und vielen Dank. Produkt wurde schnell geliefert aber leider fehlt mehr als die Hälfte.Laut Lieferumfang sollte das Case, Netzkabel, der Kühler und die Kühltürme enthalten sein.Leider war nur das Case und das Netzkabel enthalten und das Case sieht benutzt aus. Ebenso war es nicht versiegelt was mich vermuten lässt das dieses Produkt bereits entsendet wurde, teile entnommen und eventuell mit dem benutzen Case zurück gesendet.Rücksendung ist beantragt und hoffe das Ware besser kontrolliert wird beim entsenden.

El lote es perfecto, excepto por los siguientes detalles:1) Los tornillos sobresalen mucho por abajo (como para poner otra tuerca más) y, aunque se facilitan también unas patas de goma, si inclinas la caja para cojerla, podría arañar la superficie en la que se encuentra. Sería interesante que las patas fueran "huecas" para ponerlas en las zonas de los tornillos y, de paso, disimularlos.2) El adhesivo de los disipadores me parece que no es muy bueno y el disipador que se coloca en la parte de abajo se ha desprendido a los 2 días de colocarlo. Lo he vuelto a pegar, aunque me temo que no durará mucho.Por otra parte, en lo que respecta al ruido, el ventilador lo he puesto a 3V, y sólo se nota cuando la habitación está en completo silencio. En un dormitorio podría ser incómodo para algunas personas, pero en el salón o en otras habitaciones puede pasar desapercibido. No lo he probado aún a 5V.

J'ai hésité avec pas mal d'autres modèles -et même celui pour le Raspberry Pi 3 qui est indiqué comme incompatible par les matières qui peuvent altérer la communication WiFi/Bluetooth apparemment-. Pourquoi pas ... mais si j'ai choisi ce modèle c'est surtout pour son alimentation câble USB + alimentation 2,5A. Je ne voulais d'un nouveau bloc mais plus d'une possibilité d'utiliser ceux que j'ai déjà et qui sont suffisant (entre 2,5 et 3A).Après vient l'esthétique et là, c'est à chacun de faire son choix, c'est le côté "transparence" qui a fait le mien.Le boitier n'est pas fait d'un bloc mais de plusieurs couches à placer les unes au dessus des autres, le tout aligné par 4 longues vis dans chaque coin. La notice explique parfaitement comment les empiler même si elles sont déjà dans le bon ordre à l'ouverture de la boite.Le Raspberry Pi 3 B+ s'installe et cale parfaitement sur la seconde couche avant de placer les autres au-dessus. Bien entendu, il ne faut pas oublier de placer les radiateurs et le ventilateur avant de refermer le tout.Une petite astuce peut-être : le radiateur à placer au dessous du Raspberry devrait être mis en place APRÈS avoir refermé le boîtier (pas définitivement, on sait jamais) car si il n'est pas à la bonne place pour l'évacuation de la chaleur, il risque de faire pression sur la couche du dessous alors qu'il y a un trou fait exprès pour lui. C'est pas facile à expliquer mais une fois entre les mains vous comprendrez ;) J'ai fait l'erreur c'est pour ça que j'en parle mais heureusement je n'avais pas encore bien fixé le radiateur, j'ai pu donc le recoller sans aucun souci afin de le placer plus correctement.Quoi qu'il en soit, ce n'est qu'un petit détail qui n'empêchera pas ce boitier d'être facile à monter, qui donne vraiment une sensation de protection pour le Raspberry Pi que vous pourrez mettre à l'intérieur, d'autant plus que sa conception est plutôt originale.Une fois le tout monté ... et bien c'est tout, il n'y a plus qu'à lancer la (petite) machine et faire ce qui vous plait avec !A recommander sans aucune hésitation !

Ich kann mich eigentlich den anderen Rezensionen nur anschließen. Das Case ist super und lässt sich auch relativ leicht montieren. Man muss eben nur entweder wirklich genau auf die Anleitung gucken oder die Teile jeweils zwei mal drehen, bis sie passen.Es sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern. Durch die Glasfront wird allerdings das Licht der Status LEDs etwas gebrochen und verteilt sich stärker als bei dem original Raspberry Case. Daher wirkt es gerade in der Dunkelheit subjektiv heller. Ich habe persönlich einen matten Klebestreifen darüber geklebt um das Licht minimal zu dimmen.Die enthaltenen Gumminoppen sorgen auch für einen guten Stand ohne irgendwelche verkratz Ängste bezüglich des Untergrunds.Den Lüfter kann man je nach Verkabelung langsam oder schnell laufen lassen. Ich habe mich für die langsame Variante entschieden, aus Angst vor sonstigen Geräuschen. Dadurch haben sich die CPU/GPU Temperaturen von ca. 56°C (und mehr) auf 38°C reduziert. Den Lüfter hört man dabei garnicht, außer man befindet sich mit dem Ohr weniger als 20cm entfernt.Leider fehlten auch bei mir Teile, wie bereits von anderen Rezensenten genannt. Bei mir waren es jedoch nur die Muttern für den Lüfter. Durch die vier Muttern für das äußere Case konnte ich das ganze jedoch auch diagonal mit nur jeweils zwei Muttern verschrauben und die restlichen Schrauben lose hineinlegen, sodass sie zumindest seitlich zusätzliche Stabilität bieten.Fazit:Ich würde dieses Gehäuse sofort wieder kaufen, gerade für den Preis gibt es wohl kein Besseres. Nur die fehlenden Muttern stören ein wenig.

La custodia è ok; seguendo le chiare istruzioni allegate con un minimo di calma si monta molto bene ed accoglie il Pi3B+ come da aspettative. Per completezza segnalo che ho dovuto intervenire sul mio cavo HDMI per ridurne le dimensioni dell'"impugnatura" attorno al connettore, ma si è trattato di un "problema" del mio cavo e non della custodia che prevede uno spazio ragionevole per inserire il cavo HDMI.Purtroppo l'alimentatore ha immediatamente (alla prima accensione di test) presentato problemi di prestazione segnalati direttamente dal Raspberry su schermo ("fulmine" in alto a destra); successivamente, a montaggio completato e con ventola tastiera / mouse connessi, segnala frequentemente il problema. Data la bontà generale della custodia ho acquistato un secondo kit ed anche nel nuovo l'alimentatore presenta lo stesso problema.Nonostante il prodotto sia generalmente buono / ottimo il problema all'alimentatore è a mio avviso molto significativo, potrebbe per esempio portare al danneggiamento di apparati connessi: non mi sento quindi di assegnare più di 2 stelle.Potrebbero rimuovere l'alimentatore dal bundle ed offrire il kit a qualche euro in meno.
