You get what you paid for which is cheap line. Seems to stand around the advertised breaking strength but is very easily cut compared to power pro, spider wire. The wax smears off also

I fish for a living and this stuff is really good. Slightly stronger than its listed break point. Limp and casts well. Holds color as good as most. Great for those of us with lots of rods to keep in working order......

I’ve tried bigger names but I find I like this best. A key reason I like it is it seems the resist digging in under pressure the way softer braids and lumpier braids do. Less compression, water absorbtion/swelling, and lays flatter(so less space). No braid is perfect, certain knots are better than others. Braid to braid or braid to mono.

Despite being called fishing line, my spool stayed pleasantly dry in use to help whirl gauzy fabric ghosts around a haunted house. It's thin enough to disappear into the shadows, light enough to move easily, and holds knots securely enough that guests weren't attacked by falling ghosts.While I can't speak to the versatility of it for the intended use, it was exactly what I needed.

I bought this for camping rather than fishing. I enjoy bushcraft and camping under a tarp. This stuff is amazing for its versatility, it will do everything from holding a tight ridgeline to holding my bear bag securely. Not only will it hold up a lot of abrasion but the knot retention is actually a little too good. My only advice if you are buying this for any purpose is to have a good set of shears to cut it with.

Received and started spoiling- Started noticing buildup in the spool after about 25 yards. I have no idea what these “chunks” of stuff are in the spool, but I’ve used tons of braided line from other brands and never experienced this. Complete pain and I ended up with about 10 that I had to take apart off the line, saw that the spool is littered with them (see pictures) and decided to toss the whole thing into the trash.See pictures, suggest you hard pass this brand, unless you like time consuming challenges. I’d rather just go fishing with my time.

The 4-strand 100 lbs test line was just that. The diameter was advertised as 0.5 mm but the real diameter was substantially more. I can't explain how to measure diameter reliably since so standard test is given. What I thought was 0.5 mm was larger. How do I know: I set knots on a standard hook and kept them for reference. When I rcvd the product I did the same knot-hook test with it and found the size of the line was at least 50% larger. For my application, I had to go down to 30-50 lbs test line to achieve the same test results. Just beware that you can spend up to $75 bucks just trying to get the same diameter line. My low rating is based on the miss-leading line diameter advertised by the vendor. If you have someone to consult with, then do!

Bought the 15lb BS for making hooklengths. Breaking under pressure just between two hook pullers.Tried different knots and each time either broke at the knot or half way down the hook length.Would not purchase again.

I bought this for my husband. When he opened the package a very strong chemical smell filled my living room. He took it outside and fully unwrapped it, and we can still smell it. Growing up by the ocean we have fished all our lives and neither of us have ever smelled a fishing line smell like that. I am pretty sure no fish is ever going to come near this line. Not happy with this product at all.
