Perfect OEM replacement.
Great bolt on replacement for OEM. 2017 HD Sportster 883, perfect fit. Only lowers the bike by half an inch compared to OEM shock. Ride is smooth, a little stiff compared to OEM but well worth it for the purchase price. This will directly replace HD part # 54000088.

The eye of the shock does not fit a 1998 sportster, false advertising. It's a decent shock though.

Good Shocks, But Room for Improvement
Overall, the WOWTK Rear Shocks are a solid option for the price. They’ve definitely improved my bike’s ride, but I would love to see a bit more softness and adjustability for maximum comfort. If you're looking for budget shocks with decent performance, these are a great choice. However, if you're someone who’s really picky about ride quality, you might want to consider other options.

good shocks, a little stiff
These fit perfectly without much trouble. The coil is a bit thinner in gauge than the OEM ones from Harley and they are MUCH stiffer. Maybe they will break in, I have no idea. This is the first time I have replaced original shocks on any of my bikes. The old pair may have started stiff and gotten loose during the time I owned the bike and it happened so gradually that I never noticed, lol. I got so used to the broken in ones that the new one feel way too still and are not comfortable to me. They claim to be adjustable but I really can't tell a different when I adjust them.
