The Roxbox - a Collection of Roxette's Greatest Songs

New edition of the glorious 2006 Roxette box set, now refreshed and updated. With extra songs from the "Charm school" and "Travelling" albums added on, and a slightly revised back catalogue, it has also gotten a mini face-lift, presented in a plastic fatbox case (as opposed to the sturdy casebound longbook of the original release), with new layout, featuring some new pictures and liner notes. With another best-of released back in March, Roxette are releasing so many greatest hits, it is almost hard to keep up. To be fair, recent 2-disc "XXX" compilation is a comprehensive hits collection perfect for casual buyers. The "Roxbox!" is an anthology of most of the band's best moments, thus, appeals both to new and hardcore fans. Per Gessle has explained about this release: "Some major Warner-markets wanted this box-compilation since we're touring a lot, so, we waved the green flag." The original 4CD+DVD "Roxbox!" remains the definitive Roxette box set. Τhis new 78-track 4-disc compact little box, though, is the ultimate Roxette purchase. And, since Warner has now made this available for shipping everywhere, and at a very reasonable price (costing as much as a regular double album), everyone is super happy. This 2015 repackaged version of the group's "extended greatest hits collection" is ideal for the casual buyer, as well as for those who missed it the first time around (as long as they do not mind the omission of the collectible DVD), an essential buy of the highest order, from the sunniest pop band that has ever graced the earth!Note: The songs from the 2006 version missing are:1. Great box set of all the hits with some interesting demos and rarely heard b side releases

Great compilation of their music, a must have.

I love Roxette. The first two CDs are perfect. I definitely believe that Roxette has been music than Adele. Adele is way too overrated.

It is very unusual for a band to release a 4CD of their Best of their work including their singles and album tracks. This is pure Scandanavian pop. I just wish the single Fireworks was there. A fitting tribute of their work together. (RIP Marie)
