Quality food
Have 3 80# dogs and they like it. Has quality components that are healthy. Had switched to different brand (used 2 different brand and fed mixed) and when I purchased this again, they ate this first.

Not gonna find a better puppy starting food
Not gonna find a better puppy starting recipe. however was very pricey for large litters. Great food though. Fed this for several weeks starting puppies on solid food had great results. Ultimately ended up switching due to high price.

CORE is Worth the $$ (Price Comp Review)
Although all Wellness brand foods we've tried are good, CORE Grain-Free, is the best. My puppies' energy is solid, even their temperament is more positive (I swear their brains are boosted on CORE), their poop is consistently "perfect". They're much more appreciative after feeding, and just an overall boost in good ole "puppy". It's amazing the difference with grain-free. Hopefully, I'll always be blessed enough to be able to feed my best friends such good food. They're still less than 6 months old, but over 50 lbs., so I just switched over to the Wellness CORE Large Breed Original Formula, from trying to go less expensive with the regular Wellness Puppy Complete Health & Wellness Large Breed Puppy (neither being CORE). I used the CORE Puppy until they were about 4 months, and they grew like cows. Regular Wellness is decent, but I'm 100% sold on Wellness CORE. I'm not even "middle class" on income right now, but that's an even more important reason to feed them well vs going the cheap route. I remember the cheap stuff we fed our outside mutts when I was a kid. There's no comparison. My current mutts are two healthy sibling lab/pit bull mix pups & I'll go without a few fast food meals a month, just so I can keep them healthy. Others have cigarette, booze, gambling, new cars, fancy homes...but I'm perfectly content with my happy & healthy puppies; they bring me way more joy than anything material or any possible vice.I'm not a paid spokesperson reviewer, just FYI. I believe Wellness has hit the jackpot in this market & truly want others to consider the benefit to paying a few $$ more/month for their pets to thrive, instead of just live.I figured it up & the prices/lb are remarkable, but not more than those 24 plastic bottled waters you buy & consume every month ;) my figures are based on the regular purchase price, not the subscribe & save. *** are for what I have used with my two current pups.Wellness Food Type Price/lb Based on Price/Bag as of 07/03/2015------------------------------ ------------- ------------------------------------------------------*Complete Health Puppy #30 $1.55 @ $48.83/bag*Large Breed Puppy #30 $1.84 @ $55.27/bag*CORE Large Breed Original #26 $2.12 @ $54.99/bag*CORE Puppy Formula #26 $2.61 @ $67.82/bagI will be back to edit in the future. Check out the picture of my puppies. They are gorgeous & healthy!

The best dry dog food you can get!
This is the best dry dog food you can buy in my opinion. It seems a bit expensive, completely worth it though once you take into consideration that you would have to buy multiple supplements to equal what you get in the bag! Love the fact that it includes omega-3s, probiotics and glucosamine as well as taurine! I've had two service dogs both on this food and I've never had any issues the vet always says they're perfect! The best part is you can feed them less than what you would feed other dog foods and they get more nutrition out of it as well as better poops which makes it easier to clean up. If you have a service dog then this is what you need to be feeding them!

So many delivery problems with dogfood!
The dog food amazing. Our purebred lab is incredibly healthy and handsome! But getting it delivered from amazon is THE WORST. We cant seem to rely on it actually getting here. Most of the time, it says it delivered and it isnt here. I dont know what is going on when it comes to dog food, perhaps because it is heavy? We dont usually have problems with anything else. Our advice, find another source, we definitely will.

Awesome dog food
Our vet confirmed that this dog food is a good choice for our German Shepherd. It's all natural, no grain, great ingredients that are easy to digest, with good clean protein sources. It even has a pleasant smell for dog food. Our previous pet had horrible skin allergies, so for our puppy, we wanted to head off any potential issues. Our pet is thriving on it: his coat, skin and bowel movements are healthy, and he doesn't seem to pass offensive gas as often as our other GSD. It is a relatively expensive product, but worth it. I find that the Amazon Subscribe and Save discount price is a great deal: it ends up less expensive than when I go to Petco to purchase. Of course I give up the 10th free bag, but then again, it ships to our home, so I don't have to drive out and pick it up- that ends up a better deal in my book.

My dog has been on this food for 6 years....
...and I would not give him anything else! My dog is a 7.5 year old Golden Retriever. When we got him as a puppy, everyone said he would slow "way down" at 3 years old. Well, let's just say our sorta old pup can keep up with the new puppy living next door! I credit so much of his good health to this food. He is aging gracefully. His fur is soft and beautiful. His eyes are bright and alert. He has tons of energy to play. I highly recommend this food for your large breed dog. You will notice a huge different in not just appearance, but also energy level of your dog when you feed him/her a high-quality food like this one. It's expensive but worth it. Highly recommend!

Great food for large breeds.
I am happy with this puppy food. I believe it is a good product and is highly rated on Dog Food Advisor. I believe that feeding my dogs the best food I can afford is important. My son brought home a puppy in June. Well, it turns out he is English Mastiff and Pit Bull mix (we think). He is about 63 pounds now at approximately 6 months of age. He is the sweetest dog there ever was and we love him. I have not had a giant breed before so I wanted to find a food that was good for his growth and development as well as something he would enjoy. This food is a little larger as far as the individual pieces. He loves it and I feel I am giving him a food that is good for him. It is also available on Subscribe and Save, which cuts my cost a little more and that helps. He eats a lot.
