This was very disappointing. The only way of knowing it was really silk was because it had a label saying 'silk'. However, it felt like cheap polyester - very rough. As mentioned by others, there was a funny chemical smell when the box was opened. It was over priced for what it was. It was a gift and I was a little embarrassed and would have returned it except the circumstances did not allow.

Purchased a few of these as a gift for my church group. They are beautiful . Would purchase again!

this scarf is beautiful BUT bought the white one and its not like the picture. on the picture the white looks white its really looks like a dirty white

First of all I ordered a red/beige scarf to complement my wedding outfit. The one that arrived was purple and lilac - totally not right. However, as it was a nice colour, I decided to keep it anyway as it would do other outfits. Secondly, it is unlikely it is pure silk, although it says so on the label. Silk is soft and smooth but this is more like a crepe, scratch material, too scratchy to be worn next to the skin. Overall, a complete disappointment
