Some other reviewers said this connector prong would be too narrow and fall out easily. I thought this was going to be an issue for me, too, but simply pushing a little harder on the connector allows it to fully and snuggly seat on my older 732 model. I tested the unit with the new and an original Maverick probe at the same time. They end up a couple of degrees apart from each other at various temps when I let them sit in hot water for ten seconds or so. I plan on using both probes together for a few times and will report back if something is off with the new unit. Overall, I'm optimistic. The price is great on this item and I purchased it knowing that my original probe is living on borrowed time. I wish the probe was rounded like the original but am going to appreciate having the much longer cord, which looks like it will be as durable as the original has been.

Only used it once so far, but it fits perfectly, it tested fine on boiling water and I like the longer chords (compared to the original). Time will tell if it hold up for the long term but so far, so good.

The probes worked on my ivation thermometer. The wires are much longer than what came with it, which is good but they are almost too long so they’re hanging down from my grill too far. I’d rather have it this way than be the original length.The reason I gave this 4 stars is because the grill thermometer doesn’t really fit with the stand. It can set in it, but it’s not held tight so any movement will pull it out and I have to put it in again.

This replacement probe added life to my Maverick electronic thermometer. In my enthusiasm to be hygienic, I'd submerged my OEM probe and ended up with FFF error code. Fortunately, the replacement probe worked great and I can once again measure the ambient air temperature of my Primo Komado.

I waited to long to actually try this Thermometer so I couldn't return it. I plugged it in and read the temperature for a little bit and then would go to error. I bought another one- different brand and it works fine. I am disappointed. It looks great and is compatible with my BBQ temperature sensor, It just doesn't work.

It was exactly what i needed. My last, one after 5 years, gave out. This one is working now. I hope it lasts 5 more years!

These probes are much better than the OEM replacements from Maverick. These are accurate to within 1 degree and I've had zero problems with them. My original probes stopped working after about 6 months and these have been going strong for 3 times that long. The 6-foot cable is a massive improvement over the short ones you get with the thermometer.

Easy to see the numbers. this works just fine and is a good price.seems pretty accurate.
