Great product. I read several reviews indicating the sound comes on loud when starting the vehicle. Set volume then hold "on/off, volume" button for three seconds and the sound is set to that level on start up. Also read that an audio warning that you are exceeding the speed limit can not be turned off. It is easily turned off by touching the "tools" button at the bottom of the navigation screen and disable the warning. Neither of these issues are addressed in the manual. Screen is easy to read and navigating the menu's and apps is easy. Display on back-up camera is clear. I read reports that the maps are out of date. I have not found this to be the case. I even use the gps on remote forest roads and I find the maps to be very good. Unit takes time to start up (about 10 seconds or more). I couldn't be happier with the receiver, especially for the price. I would recommend this product.

The VX7020 is a good unit, but beware of issues with the iGO Primo NAV software
I have had the Jensen VX7020 in-dash car stereo/GPS Nav unit for several years. The Jensen unit works well and I have no complaints about the unit itself. I would recommend the VX7020 except for one thing. The iGO Primo NAV software that comes with it.My VX7020 came with "iGO my way Primo" Nav software for the US and Canada on a 4GB SDCARD. I have recently learned a great deal about iGO's or Naviextras very limiting mechanisms to protect their software. I agree completely that a company should be able to protect the investment they have put into their software, but when it cripples the use of the software for legitimate users, they have gone too far. And iGO has gone too far.In order to use the iGO software for more than a short period of time, you must register it with Naviextras. That is OK. This makes sure you are authorized to use the software on the device it came with. However, they go further and lock the software to the original SDCARD that came with the unit. So the first problem is that if that SDCARD dies, like many do after a time, you are left with nothing and no way to replace it. Here is a quote from Naviextra support:"Due to security reasons our software can only be run from the original SD card. At the moment it is not possible to purchase the software on a card with bigger memory or to move the contents onto another card."Naviextras provides a backup utility, but you can only restore to the original SDCARD the software is locked to so the backup is next to useless. The second problem is that the latest map update from Naviextras for North America will not fit on a 4GB card. It requires an 8GB card, but Naviextras/iGO will not allow me to move the software from a 4GB card to an 8GB. So if you start out with a 4GB card you are out of luck for getting updates. I paid $80 to Naviextras for one years worth of useless updates because they will not fit on my 4GB card. And Naviextra provides no reimbursement or solution to the issue. If Jensen is still shipping these units with 4GB SDCARDs you will be sorry you purchased it.
