Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is being used on a above ground pool where we needed the depth of the filler to reach the right height for filling the pool to the right level. We tried using rocks to make it stable but the coping is too flexible to be stable. We just clamped it to the pool and it now functions perfectly. It is easy to set and has been leak free. At this time of year you can lose 1/4 to 1/2 of inch of water in the pool to evaporation. This is a pretty simple set and forget option. Check it once a week for functionality and you should be good to go. For the price it is decent quality and it was easy to install.

While the unit works well, it appears to me to be made of flimsy plastic. Expected a more substantial unit.

Don’t waste your time, the shut off basically never shuts off fob continuously gets stuck causing it to keep feeding in water. almost overflowed my pool more than one time. Spent the last few weeks fiddling thinking it was me thinking it was where I placed it was it my jets making it flutter? nope. Oh and don’t make a wave it will fill every time you make a wave but never shut off! Again thinking it was me I put it in dead still water and it just randomly would start dumping water even though fob was at the line. Total waste of money

Very easy to install and work great!!!

The vertical piece (where the water comes out) is not long enough. The float inside the vertical piece turns off the water flow when the water gets to the proper height but the lowest setting is too high and water covers the skimmer. I may try to find a piece of foam to attach to the float to help it turn off the water at a lower level..

Totally worth the money, I was worried that when we left on vacation the pool pump and sand filter would burn up bc of the water level going down bc we don't cover our pool, we set it up and tested it before we left for vacation. It kept the pool at the level we set it at and would add water on demand on its own. I would give it more than 5 stars but that is my only option
