I’m a dad and former basketball player so I know the addiction to the game. But you know what I can’t stand? Hearing a ball bouncing constantly when I’m trying to work or relax around the house. This is your moment.From the parent’s perspective, this is just as advertised. I live in a home with wood floors and high ceilings so there is a lot of echo. This ball is sniper-silent. My daughter can bounce this on the floor, a wall, a ceiling, it doesn’t matter. It is silent. I also have a rescue dog with anxiety who is terrified of bouncing balls and things being thrown. She will play fetch with anything but a ball. She is NOT scared of this ball which is absolutely amazing.For the kids, this ball bounces pretty true. For reference, I’m 6’5 and a former player and I can say, it bounces much better than I expected, especially at lower heights. Dribble this low like you’re being pressured bringing the ball up the court and it’s spot on. Dribble it standing straight up like you’re talking to a cheerleader on the sidelines and you’ll get a bounce here and there that will make you look like a fool. (Actually, that might teach good lessons as a free bonus)As a dad and a player I highly recommend this! In fact, if they had this when I was a kid, I may have been grounded less! May… If you have a kid who loves to play or is starting out, don’t hesitate. It’s a great value for the money and it’s a lot of fun for the kids too. Talk about quiet. This basketball is exactly as described. My son dribbles around the house constantly and doesn’t bother anyone. The ball bounces and plays very similar to a traditional basketball. It is a basketball made from a dense sponge so it has some weight and bounce to it. It bounces fine on hard wood, not quite as much as a regular basketball but good enough to practice dribbling indoors. To my surprise, it bounces decently well on carpet too.The main reason you would buy this is for the quieter sound and vibration. You still hear a ‘puff’ sound when dribbling but it is significantly quieter than a regular basketball. Also, it is softer on the floor so you don’t have to worry about ruining your flooring or pounding on your downstairs neighbor.What it is not for is outdoor use. You will tear it apart easily. So will a dog. Water will probably ruin it too as it is a sponge. I would not use it for shooting practice either.So if you are limited in practice space and want to practice dribbling indoors when the weather outside prevents you, using this will keep other members of the household happier than listening to a real ball. They might not even notice it if you were a couple rooms away. I would probably buy it again if I didn’t have one so definitely recommend.

Horrible quality, used it for a few days and all of the foam is coming apart and leaving pieces all over my office. I bought this as a solution to one issue and now I’m paying someone to clean my office bc there’s orange pieces everywhere

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It has the perfect size and weight, offers a great bounce, and is quiet enough for indoor play. My son and I are both really pleased with it.

It is pretty quiet. And it still has a decent bounce. But one time it got swished and now it is wearing out. After that it didn’t feel quite as good. Only had it for one month. But other than that it is a nice product, but probably only worth $30 though 7.5 out of 10

It's very quiet. A bit more effort to get ot to bounce back. But for a 6 year old that can't remember to not bounce the ball when people are trying to sleep, it's freakin awesome.

My 13 year old son heard about this from a friend. My son wanted a basketball that he could use indoors to practice his dribbling and ball handling skills while in the house to get extra practice but that wasn't noisy like a regular basketball. It is a great product since it feels realistic to a regular basketball size wise when he is using it and it also bounces back at a good height that is realistic to a regular basketball, whether on carpet or tile. He LOVES it and feels like it has already helped him to improve his ball handling skills and his coach noticed too at practice the other day since the coach told him he has improved:) I would highly recommend this product. We read other reviews for similar balls but this one got the best reviews and has been great. It arrived in a large box, at full size like it said it would, and was not compressed at all like some other balls said they would arrive and then those balls got poor reviews because they never fully expanded correctly. Also reviews for other balls said the balls did not bounce back high enough to easily/correctly use it for ball handling skills. Costs a little more than other balls out there but well worth the extra money to get a quality product that works great. Also the product arrived very quickly. Highly recommend this product.
