Great for Tabletop war games or Warhammer 40k
Great size and the non-slip on the back is great for making sure it doesn't slip off the table.

Nicely designed item
This is a nicely designed product. The color looks cool. Someone said that the pink color of numbers were tough to see, but that didn’t bother me at all. The tape comes out and retracts smoothly. The lock works easily. The quality is good, but that added more weight. I wish it were slightly lighter.

Excellent tape measure—I'm a techie in a datacenter, and it comes in handy a LOT
Caveats...(1) Having it be white/washed-out-red marks on a black background is a somewhat *interesting* choice.(2) Even though the imperial-units half goes to 10' (120"), the metric-units half just stops at 300cm (≅118.11"); I would've liked it to go all the way to the 120" mark (≅304.8cm).(3) It is a tad wide for its size (a full 1"). Given it's supposed to be the pocket-size model, I feel it could've been a tad skinnier and still readable, even with both units. Still, it fits in my pocket.None of these were deal-breakers for me.I used to have a cheap 3' flexible tape doo-dad I got at a job fair, and well, it was cheap and broke. I figured since I use it so much on the job, and it's very handy at home and on-the-go too, I should have something sturdier. So far so good, but time will tell. So far, I've used it to measure server racks and various openings and fittings in our datacenter, at home and on-the-go, I've used it to measure wood, various parts, and all manner of general-purpose things. It's long enough (10') that it's good for most home improvement needs.

Americans read this first.
For us Americans the layout of the numbers and the fraction markers it just isn’t what we’re use to…. I look at it and it makes me kinda nervous to read….But the compactness/the feel/ the build/ and that lil anti slide pad on the nice it’s worth the money….
