Not pure sterling silver silver wears off exposing copper

It’s a really pretty ring. It is not tarnish resistant or a ring to wear everyday . It states it is 925 sterling silver but it’s only coated after 5 weeks the silver wears off exposing copper.

Sadly, the silver is fading to copper

I really enjoyed this ring, but sadly the silver is wearing out. I bought two rings the same time (6/13/2024) one is still brilliantly silver, this one not so much. Wish it stayed, as it is a really fun one to wear.
