This is the best soap I have ever used. The clean and attractive aroma of sandalwood stays on your skin making you feel fresh and clean. The sandalwood also stays in the soap right down to the last wash. The soap does not get mushy as it gets smaller, nor does it crack or break up into bits like some other soaps. The three pack is very good value especially when one considers the quality of the product.The only way this soap could improve would be to use sustainable palm oil.

A most pleasing soap with a nice fragrance.

I bought this for a friend of mine, who has often been disappointed by scented soaps and other products. She mentioned that she liked sandalwood, and I remembered Mysore soap, which was sold in a shop in which I used to work. Checked it out online, and found this supplier at a reasonable price. The 3 bars came in an attractive box. My friend is very pleased with this soap. I might buy some for myself as well.

This soap is the real thing - the classic Indian sandalwood soap, excellent quality, without gimmicks. The texture is lovely, creamy without being gooey, the scent is rich without being overpowering, the foam is substantial without creating masses of froth.I've been treating myself to Mysore Sandalwood soap many times over the years, whenever I wanted a bit of luxury. It comes in different sizes and shapes. I find these round ones to be the most practical size - substantial enough as a bath soap or hand soap, but small enough to fit comfortably into the hand.Another advantage is that the sandalwood scent smells good on women and on men, so couples or families can use it. (As a woman, I think sandalwood smells gorgeous on a freshly washed male body.) So I think this would make a great gift for people of any age and gender.

People with sensitive skin, don't do well on petroleum based products. This soap is produced in India and is entirely vegetable so can be safely used even on babies skins. There is not a huge scent to this soap but it is pleasant. I am not sure about the value for money and as I don't use petroleum based soaps I have nothing to compare it to. But given that it helps eczema prone skin to recover from a bad bout of itching and scratching... it could be invaluable. Please give it a try and stop using petroleum based products on your sensitive skin, in whatever form - use this soap and oatmeal based moisturisers, cleansers, and shower gel.

Look on the back of the box and you will find the price in rupees. Just back from India, not far fromKarnataka where this fabulous soap is made, 85 rupees per bar. Import duties must be very high!
