I had been using my Carepod without any issues, but at some point the humidifier stopped working. I left it unused over the summer, and when I turned it back on, it still wouldn’t run. On closer inspection, I noticed a crack in the Wand, which I suspect might be the cause. Since it comes with a one-year warranty, if customer service is satisfactory, I’ll leave a five-star review.Update!Warranty worked and I received the broken part. It was very quick and accurate.

There is one problem with this humidifier. It drips it’s noisy. It wakes me up at night. I have the setting on low and it doesn’t seem to matter if it’s full or half full of water. The company sent me a new wand thinking maybe that’s the issue which I’m going to try tonight. If that doesn’t help, I’m going to have to return it and get something else. What I like about it is that it is good for a large space. It’s easy to clean. It’s self sterilizing. and looks attractive. If any other people have been able to solve the noisy dripping sound please let me know.

I purchased the Cube x50 in November 2023 and a G1 in December 2023, they worked great until just about the one year mark when the 'wands' developed cracks. First the X50 and then a week later the G50. I completed the CarePod support request for the X50 and was sent a replacement wand in short order. My wife completed the support request for the G50 and has heard nothing. While we were waiting for her response I ordered a CarePod One around December 9th to replace the G50, it arrived quickly and was working well then around the 14th its wand too developed cracks and almost seems melted. It was not generating mist but was getting quite warm. The replacement wand for the X50 also broke shortly after replacement. See photos attached. I reported the broken X50 wand and the CarePod One issue on the 15th to CarePod but have heard nothing back. I have time to return and get my money back on the CarePod One. I was truly hoping for better support.

I paid almost $400 including tax for the humidifier and frankly I don't feel that the price is justifiable for what it offers, mainly the easy-to-clean feature. I have tried *many* different brands of humidifiers including the Miro one where you can take apart everything and I have to admit this one is by far the easiest to clean. But that's about it really.The mist is strong, however, ironically it does little to improve the humidity of the room (my bedroom is 300 sqft). I have it first sit on the bedside table and half way to the night I had to wake up and move it because my pillow and my hair are all wet. Yet, my husband who slept on the other side of the bed, told me he felt nothing and it didn't help with his sinus. The next night I decided to move the humidifier on a table a bit far off so it wouldn't soak my hair and I woke up in the morning with a pool of water on the floor (where the mist is directed to) and that night I cannot say if the mist helped me sleep better, I felt the same as any other days when I didn't have the humidifier.TL;DR:Pros:- Extremely easy to clean: only 3 parts and there is no difficult-to-reach areas that need tiny brush.Cons:- Although it's advertised to be able to run 8-10hrs continuously at high setting, I found that it will stop just after 8hrs at medium setting, despite having at least 200ml of water in the tank.- The plastic materials on the outside feels cheap and the stainless steel of the water tank is not fingerprint-proof. Overall, the build really falls short given the price tag. It is Made in China in case you are wondering.- You have to be very careful when opening the lid otherwise water will drip from the lid and wet the base (outside of the pod).- You have to use filtered water because when I used tap water (and it's not exactly hard water in my area), I noticed reddish-looking sediments when cleaning out the tank.- The deal breaker for me was the mist was either too strong (when placed on my beside table) it wet my hair and my pillow on "medium" setting or too weak (when the humidifier was placed 1.5m away from me on "high" setting) it didn't have any effect on me.

This is a great addition to our bedroom with a new baby. So far has been easy to clean and operate. Would love an even bigger tank, but works well on a daily basis! Well worth the cost for a sanitary option for our family.
