Sitka Delta Boonie
This is a great hat for any outdoors person. The material was a bit lighter than I expected but it doesn’t effect the quality. All the seams are well stitched and I cant find any issues with the overall build. It does not have any mesh or holes for ventilation but seems to breath well with the limited hiking I’ve done while wearing it. I normally wear a size 7 1/4 and it fits perfect with out using the cinching tab. It hasn’t rained since I’ve owned the hat so can’t comment on the Gore Tex water proofing but I’ve owned other gore Tex products and have not had any issues with it not performing as expected. I plan to use the hat primarily while fishing and it should be perfect for both sun and rain protection.

Nice alternative to a standard style boonie hat
I like SITKA GTX hats and this hat does not disappoint. The style is more of a traditional style brimmed hat. The brim and overall round shape is more appealing to me over a traditional square style boonie. The hat is a little warm in hot weather but does keep rain and sun out of my face and neck area, no problems wearing this hat with a backpack. I have problems with interference with my gortex OR rain hat.

Works great, even bow shooting
I was impressed with the hat. I shot a 3D bow shoot in the rain and it kept my head dry, but more impressively it did not interfere with the bow when shooting. Usually rain hats will deflect the bow string and generally be in the way. While the hat did interact with the bow when shooting the material is flexible enough it had no detrimental effect on the shot. I would defiantly buy it again.

Best hat ever. Period.
Warm, waterproof and fits my large head. Their sun hat in largest size is a big snug, this is not. Nothing puts a smile on your face like watching the water drip off your brim at 2*C while being dry and warm!
